For a hard partying young single guy like myself, kokomos had all I needed there. I really didn't have to leave the Hotel. There's the bar, restaurant, pool, and my room was awesome!

Best for folks who can tolerate a lot of noisePosted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: I really liked the food, as there was a very wide selection, everything I had was good. The staff of the hotel, bars, and travel service were great.
Cons: The noise and the bed in my room.
Location: Centrally located in the middle of all of the activity.
The staff at Kokomo's is great and the food is really good. The free drink and discount tickets you get at check in are nice touches. Plenty of television channels and the WiFi works well throughout the location. Having travel services, money exchange, a wide variety of good food, and 2 bars on site makes it very easy and convenient. Centrally located in the entertainment zone. The design of the hotel means that rooms are close to the kitchen, the nightclubs, or the street and as a result are subjected to ample noise about 20 hours a day. Music, fireworks, loud talking, exhaust noise from trikes and scooters, or kids screaming in the pool during the daytime are present. If you've been drinking and/or comfortable with using ear plugs, or just a heavy sleeper, this may not be an issue to you, but if you are a light sleeper looking for a quiet restful haven, you should book elsewhere. The bed in my room was not as comfortable as most hotels.

Pros: The food, the clubs, the service, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
Cons: Nothing. It was pretty much all good.
Location: Location is on Walking Street, within easy walking distance of several clubs and restaurants.
I had a pleasant stay. The restaurant in the hotel served good, visually pleasing, good-tasting food in more than adequate portions. The rooms were well kept, clean and roomy. Everything was as advertised. Some rooms are located over the two night clubs which are in the hotel, so they can be a little noisy. This can be remidied by requesting a room that isn't located over them. Service was always prompt, the waitresses were cheerful and very pretty. The local climate was nothing less than superb, with only a couple of rains early in the morning during my stay, nights at about 78deg. F. and days in the low to mid 80's. The stay at this hotel was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

rubbish,i checked out into another hotel(at my expense)4 nights into an 8 night stay.i was fed up of being bit by mozzies (or ants)in my room.the rooms are above 2 clubs ,1 24hour 1 closes at 1/2 am so you have music that vibrates your bed till at least 2 am ,then at 6am the kitchen gets busy and all you can hear is staff screaming and laughing till you are forced up.on the good side the staff are all lovely and freindly the food is is v good and it is situated perfect.my advise is sleep somewher else but use bars and resteraunt at kokomos

Don't Bother With This PlacePosted Mar 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
My experience with Kokomo's was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel in Angeles City, but any hotel I have ever used. First and foremost, I want to state that I stayed in two different rooms at the hotel and the following is true for both of them: When I turned on the shower, the water stank. Not badly, but enough to make you wonder how clean it was. Fortunately, the smell of soap was able to mask it, but smelly water is definitely a negative. The bed was awful. There was barely a mattress on the bed and it only came with a single thin sheet to cover up with. No comforter, no nothing. House keeping was nonexistent. I could leave for an entire day and come back to a room just as dirty as the way I left it, and this is even after putting on the "please make up my room" sign. I killed multiple roaches while at this hotel. I've been to one star hotels before and had no problems with bugs. Absolutely disgusting! Finally, the second room I stayed in promised a view of the pool, but instead it was another room with no windows. The only positive thing about this place is that the food is good, but you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat that. If you want a hotel in the same area as Kokomo's, go with Grand Central Hotel or Hotel Amsterdam. I have stayed in both and never had problems with either. I tried Kokomo's on a whim, and am definitely not glad I did.
