Nice hotel. Terrible car park.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent but the hotel car park cost £15 to park for one night. Terrible.

Great hotel. Shame about nearby works.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: A very easy experience. No complications.
Location: Seems to be a lot going on at night and opportunities to see some local live bands.
Hotel is great. Great to have access to the spa area included in the price. Only downside was the road work view we had but that's not the fault of apex. Had we been staying longer I would have asked to change to a room on the other side of the building.

Comfortable hotel

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Situation is good
Cons: Would be helpful to give directions for those walking from the station as it wasn't obvious that there was a shore route
Location: The McManus museum is well worth visiting
Despite the massive building works round the quayside our room on the second floor was quiet and comfortable and we had a view of the Tay bridge. It had a walk in shower which for someone with mobility problems is ideal. Breakfast was good.

A centre of city hotel with lovely views

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: Spa facilities, lovely views and comfort.
Cons: Absolutely none
Location: Transport, shops, eateries, and nice walks by the river.
Room very well supplied with toiletries, towels, refreshments and biscuits. Excellent comfortable beds, and seating with a coffee table.

Only a couple of disappointments . . .

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: A quite new hotel with a high standard of cleanliness; comfortable beds; good view from our floor; reasonably close proximity to city centre.
Cons: If facilities, food etc are going to be unavailable to guests then the hotel should take care to properly inform anyone who might be affected by this.
Location: Located in the quay area, which is a manageable walk from the city centre with (other than on public holidays) restaurants close by.
Our otherwise enjoyable stay was marred by not being able to get food in the hotel at lunchtime on Xmas day. When we asked for sandwiches, we were told that they were only providing food for those who had pre-booked into the restaurant. Having arrived the evening before, and not being forewarned of this, we went without food until dinnertime as it was a miserable day weatherwise and food places open in the city on Xmas day would have been difficult to find.
