Cosy place to stayPosted May 29, 2013
Pros: Right in centre of town but still very quiet.
Cons: Smaller sized room with slightly sloping floor!
Location: Handy to shops and restaurants.
Kate was very friendly and helpful. Lovely wee spot to stay in Montrose.

Almost very goodPosted Apr 19, 2013
Pros: Excellent bathroom
Cons: Disappointing breakfast
Location: Very handy for the town centre and public transport
Chapel House is very comfortable but I would have enjoyed a more substantial breakfast. Cereal and a croissant is less than I would have expected for the price I paid.

Good option for staying in Edinburgh.Posted Oct 13, 2012
Pros: Large room.
Cons: The noisy people staying.
Location: Close to bus stop;
We only had one night at Chapel House and found the room to be very good, roomy and comfortable. It had some noisy people staying there but the traffic noise wasnt a problem given it is situated on a very busy road. All up we would recommend staying there and catching a bus into the city as a better option than staying further in to Edinburgh!

General CommentsPosted Aug 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
The owners were friendly and accommodating, the quality of the breakfast was good and the room was fairly comfortable. However to watch the TV I either had to sit on a hard stool or sit sidewards on the bed as the end of the bed had a bedstead. There was no desk / table for a laptop or to write on. It is very close to the town centre although parking is extremely limited around that area with most of the streets having double yellow lines.

A Very Good Place to Stay in MontrosePosted Apr 12, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable
Cons: No problems, though Montrose itself is a bit sleepy (at least in early Spring).
Location: My interest in the location (Montrose) was strictly golf-related, though other local activities may be available
A very pleasant and comfortable place to stay in Montrose, in my case during a golf trip which included the Montrose Golf Club. Conveniently located a short walking distance from the center on Montrose ( a town of perhaps 10,000).
