What do you want for fifty dollars? Seemed like something out of the shining but scarier. The Guy at the desk was friendly enough.

Dirty

Posted May 25, 2015
The room had trash laying around when we arrived. We could tell they hadn't cleaned in between guests. Appeared they literally only made the beds as the beds smelled. Found empty beer cans, cigarette butts and half eaten food. The shower was disgusting. Other than that it was a pretty average hotel. For somewhere to sleep and not spend any extra time in, the price was fine. You get what you pay for.

Price good for close to U of M

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Price was good and staff was nice.
Location: Good location to stores, gas stations and restaurants.
Very in need of repair and upgrades. Ice machine broken on ground floor. Coffee maker broken. Tile floor strip to carpet missing in bathroom had small nails sticking out. Top sheet had holes in it and bottom sheet did not fit mattress. Refrigerator door wouldn't close, and wouldn't get cold. Entrance door to back door, latch broken and missing. Has satellite TV service and due to weather TV would go out. Hallway had area of flooring cut out and carpet is fraying. Pool was covered with plastic. Not sure if under repair or not.

Terrible Hotel

Posted May 12, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: the location was close the the school where my son guadate, and there was alot of things near by.
Had no Microwave, no refrigerate, I requested one, and never got one. the room next to me both had them and no one was renting them. The cleaning personal never came to clean room and only was given 2 towels for a family of 4. the tub in the room was fithly and had mold underneath the mat. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Old everything. Very run down.

Pool covered with a tarp. Paint was pealing off of the building. The grounds were not maintained. Rooms in general were in need of alot of repair and updating. Maid service was not constantly done everyday.

My stay at Victory Inn

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: It was a place to sleep
Cons: Everything
Location: Location was good for what I was there for. Ann Arbor has many restaurants to choose from. Shopping mall across the road.
One room had soiled sheets and only one towel and no wash cloths. The other room had a sanitary napkin in the wastebasket and toilet was dirty. Both rooms smelled musty. I used fabreze to help with the smell. Anytime I went through the lobby staff was either arguing with a customer or on the phone arguing.

Should not be in Expedia

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: Should not be in Expedia
Cons: A total remodeling!!!!!! Or just raze it to the ground and build a new one.
Location: Out of the way, in the middle of nowhere. Within 12 minutes of Downtown Ann Arbor.
The hotel is run down. The only reason why I booked it was because all other reasonably priced hotels were booked since it was graduation weekend in Ann Arbor for the U of M. The hotel has an outside pool........empty and covered with a dirty blue tarp with brackish water in the bottom (I asked how long had it been like this - the answer was about three years....). The room smelled like smoke, the carpet was dirty and stained, the room refrigerator did not work and the door was open, the TV was one of the old big units that not even Goodwill accepts as a donation, the hot water did not work, I had to shower in my nephew's apartment (I did not bother to ask for a change of room) - the bathroom looked so unappealing, I just the room to sleep in, and came in late and left early so I did not have to spend any time in this dingy ugly room. The wash bowl had a leak and the water pooled in the counter...............need I go on?
