“bell tower rocks”

My only negative was I found my room a little too warm the first night. That was before I realized the windows do slide open and I had a wonderful snooze the second night. Everything else about the hotel was very positive, including their warm greeting at 10:30PM. If anything, Expedia should consider giving customers the option of indicating "late arrival," when booking their hotel. I called the hotel direct to be sure they did not give up my room since my plans upon arriving did not allow a reasonable check in time. Having that option on Expedia would have eliminated the need for the separate call to the hotel.

“So convenient to UofMichigan”

Staff was polite and professional. Rooms were extremely clean. Free valet parking. Only oddity was coffee maker in bathroom. Otherwise, perfect!

“Perfect location, lovely experience.”

It was a pleasure! Can't beat the location in the center of campus within walking distance to EVERYTHING. The hotel is small, as most hotels of its age, however the rooms were large enough, clean and well appointed. THe staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent...more than expected for a "continental" breakfast. We will go back again.

“A pleasant, enjoyable place to relax.”

A beautiful historic building, exquisitely decorated, yet very comfortable. Staff do everything to make your stay enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the room had every convenience we wanted. We loved the beautiful sounds from the bell tower: however, they were never intrusive at night. The location is excellent if you want to visit Ann Arbor. Definitely will return hopefully in the summer.

“The Bell Tower”

The toilet handle broke off in the middle of the night and the heating in the room was uneven.
