The lobby was beautiful and rooms around it were nice. However we were put in their oldest section of rooms along the highway. We were there in the middle of the week and plenty of available rooms existed. The old rooms were very old!!!! The hallways were stained and unaircoditioned. They just had fans stuck in the walls to cool it down. The paint was peeling. Lights in our room didn't work. We felt like second class compared to the other hotel guests. I don't know why they would put us in those rooms when nice rooms existed. I will not stay there again.

A little outdated, but comfortablePosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Some of the furniture shows its age with a little wear, but the hotel is clean, the pool and hottub were a nice relaxing activity for the evening, the continental breakfast was nice, the air conditioner was heavenly. One downside: the hotel outside of the rooms was rather humid, the elevator was humid, broken ice machine on my floor, but easily accessible machine on the floor just below. Bathrooms and showers were very nice. Microwave and fridge in room. Desk with a comfortable chair to do work at, nice TV, REALLY comfortable bed. All in all, I recommend it for the price!

The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Hotel is conveniently located. The decor could use some updating, but it was very clean and the pool/hot-tub are well kept.

UnexpectedPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The condition of the hotel was okay but at $75/night I was hoping for more. I had an outdoor room which was a little confusing to find at first. When I entered the AC was blasting and the room was freezing. Not terrible, considering how hot it was outside. The hotel appeared to have some staffing issues so getting initial service was a little slow. Overall, the hotel met my needs for the one night I stayed.

If wanting to stay at a peaceful placePosted Jul 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax with you don't want to stay there on a weekend. Unfortunately there was a wedding and all you heard all night long was kids running and screaming in the hallways.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, but the hallway smelled with cigarette smoke.

Great Nights Stay w/Jacuzzi& Zingermans RoadhousePosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our stay was OUTSTANDING! Comfortable, accessible, quiet, complimentary breakfast was good and the lobby decor and pool is awesome! My husband and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! We were there for a conference but definitely enjoyed some amenities while we were there. Right down the street is, "Zingerman's Roadhouse" in the West Gate shopping plaza. Their Delmonico Steak with cheesy mashed potatoes & charred grilled asparagus was delicious! The BEST steak I've had in years. Their sweet potato fries are actually thick wedges and dee'lich as well! The hotel does have their own bar & grill inside it but, we arrived rather late in the evening and it closes at 10pm. Zingerman's is a great not even a 1/4 mile alternative (but our first choice from here on out!). There are refreshments ongoing in the front lobby of the Clarion coffee, tea, lemonade, ice water and cookies. Nice touch to an extended drive and a treat on the way to your room! Grand job CLARION Ann Arbor, MI. No complaints here whatsoever ;) !

Ok if only need to sleepPosted Jun 25, 2013
Cons: Old looking, hallways are hot with the sun out, needs up dating
Location: Was grea,t easy to get where you are going and right off the highway
They really really need to up date the rooms ! good if you are staying to sleep, Service was good, had to ask to be moved to a different room. Was to far away from everyone being by myself. Rooms are on the small and dark side but did have a refrigerate, microwave, coffee pot and flat screen tv in the room. Love the pillows, lots of them ! would not want to spend a lot of time in my room but must say it was quiet.
