Travel with DogPosted Aug 28, 2013
I needed an overnight stay at a hotel/motel that accepted dogs. I also wanted easy access in and out of my room so the dog would not be a bother with other guests. Red Roof Inn was exactly what I wanted. King size bed, non-smoking. I was also on the second floor, but had easy access to my car, and could visualize it from my room. The room was clean and comfortable. Not luxurious, but perfect for a traveler needing 12 hours of rest. The staff was pleasant, and even called to make sure my room was ok. That's unusual. So I would definitely stay again.

Not what I expectedPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Unfortunately, I was told that breakfast was going to be included and I found out when I got there, that was not the case. They gave you a voucher for a few bucks off breakfast and only if you were an adult. My son received NOTHING! That is one of the main things that I look for when we have to go away for camps and competitions as it saves a lot of time and money not looking for a place to eat so early in the morning before his athletic endeavors. Also, our room wasn't even cleaned until I finally said something the third day I was there about our trash bin running over. They did clean it after that. I also had an issue with noise one night as one of the showers was broken and making an awful noise at both 12:00 midnight and then again at 5:00am. There were no shampoos or lotions and no access to a computer except to print our boarding passes. No-one even seemed to care about any of these issues. I know some people stay there for hospital treatments as it is close to the huge hospital in Ann-Arbor, MI and they seemed to be ok with it but I would have to choose another location if I ever went to Ann-Arbor again.

Fine for what it isPosted Aug 8, 2013
Room was clean and location convenient to the University. Not a 4 star property, but more than adequate for this type of trip.

Nice hotel, close location, great staffPosted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Nice and close to East Hospital of U of M. Big Boy attached right to building.
Cons: Ice machines are very far from second building. We thought there would be one for each building but there was not.
Location: Many food places, pharmacy, and gas station close by.
Very nice hotel, staff always amazing and extremely friendly.

Fine for the price, but a little out of townPosted Jul 29, 2013
Hotel was good for the price but it was a bit out of the way. A reasonable drive to downtown Ann Arbor shops and restaurants.

My son and I stayed overnight before a lacrosse camp. The rooms were clean and updated. It was well priced.
