Do in a pinchPosted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Clean, enough towels.NO BED BUGS!!!!
Cons: Deodorize rooms.
Location: Didn't pay attention-family function to go to.
Only thing wrong here was a slight musty smell in room. Just from oldness I presume. Like a combo of old smoke/pool smell. But not unlivable. Husband didn't notice but I did. Lighting wasn't the best for women to put on make up. Even just mascara but doable.

Inexpensive, friendly and University-convenientPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Second floor room where I stayed requires a walk up a steep set of stairs (no elevator). Thankfully, I didn't need one but some guests should know.
Location: Again, convenient to the University and not too far from downtown.
Not much to say: this is not a motel you're going to want to stay in if you prefer the up-scale amenities of a Hampton Inn, but the room was clean, the front desk staff extremely pleasant and helpful, and the price was right. In addition, it was pretty close to the University and made back and forth convenient. Suited me perfectly.

UM Graduation WeekendPosted May 10, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to UM.
Yes, I made my reservation in October for May graduation. Not much available, but at "graduation special event rates" definitely not a bargain. Decaying building. Room, though nonsmoking, smelled of smoke. It was close to events with shuttle service to graduation, which is what we wanted.

It was a place to stay.Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: Relatively convenient. No fuss.
Cons: I really don't know what you could do. I believe it is what it is and you fit the needs of the public for a basic need motel.
Journeyman conditions. Nothing exceptional-nothing terrible. Straight drive to campus, convenient to I-94. Clean and functional. It was perfect for my needs although a little pricey considering I just needed a bed and a shower.

A pleasant surprisePosted May 5, 2014
Cons: The breakfast buffet. Lose the green hardboiled eggs and lard pastries and include yogurt and cereal.
It's nearly impossible to find hotels in Ann Arbor during football weekends or commencement. When I looked in August for May graduation dates, the only hotel room I could find was at the Red Roof Inn. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant stay: clean, well-located, and thoroughly acceptable. It was my first experience at a Red Roof Inn and would definitely consider staying in one again.

Comfortable and clean hotel for a short stayPosted May 4, 2014
Pros: The room was large with 2 comfortable beds and very clean - the hotel was close to Michigan University and we got a very good rate for the quality
Cons: The choice of food in the breakfast.
Location: The location is excellent as we were students visiting Michigan University for the week-end - the greyhound bus station was only 5 minutes away.
Hotel very comfortable and very clean - it was perfect for a week-end for 2 students wanting to visit Michigan University as it was very close and convenient.

In and Out stay.Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Cheap and clean, with a vacant room, front desk person was very helpful.
Cons: I was hoping someone would have left a light on for me....
Location: Too far to walk to downtown Ann Arbor but if I had a bicycle it would have been perfect.
Red Roof Inn was exactly what I expected and was hoping for, an affordable bed after a wonderful concert by the Appleseed Collective at the venerable Ark in Ann Arbor.

Great ValuePosted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: For our one-night stay, everything.
Location: Close to mall and gas stations. Short drive to stadium end of campus.
Exceeded our expectations for the value. Clean, quiet, microwave, refrigerator. Continental breakfast was better than expected. Would definitely stay again for short stays.
