“Mr”

It was extremely difficult to drive into the hotel from Riva road off West Street which is the normal approach to the hotel.. There was no left turn into the Hotel. I had to go to the round-about in the Annapolis Town Center and back- track in the opposite direction on Riva Road to make a right turn into the hotel. Bad start. The room heater had a very noisy blower that kept me waking up all night. The breakfast dining area was in the lobby, anything but commodious, but the food was adequate. The desk staff was friendly and courteous. This was probably the only above average factor in my stay.

“Excellent concierge services!!”

Friendly staff, nice little gym. The beds were very comfy. Everything was clean and neat. The Free complementary buffet breakfast was excellent! It was so close to the Annapolis town center, full of shopping and great bars and restaurants, love it, very convenient! Minutes away from history Annapolis by car!

“Smoked Out and Depressing”

The smell of smoke is overwhelming at this hotel. We changed rooms twice and still my eyes burned in even the room that was supposedly "never a smoking room". I do not understand why the places seem to think if they spray odorizer and place a ion machine in a room, that it will come out smelling fresh and clean. Smoke is not something that goes away. PERIOD. The rooms themselves, and I can say "rooms" because we visited three in a quest to find a true non-smoking room, were dirty. And I define dirty by saying, the carpets had not seen a vacuum in at least two months, there were cobwebs and dust balls and remnants of bits of trash from previous guests. Just because a bed is made does not mean "clean". The bathrooms are a weird layout where two people can't be in there and stand at the overly large sink at the same time. The location is horrible with a crazy "one way only" turn both on your way in and out of the place. Get ready to make a few u-turns in the middle of the street if you don't want to add a lot of hassle to your journey. Overall, I HATED my stay at the location. I felt uncomfortable and in constant need of a shower. My eyes burned and my throat hurt by the end of my stay. I would have left and stayed elesewhere but I took advantage of the "unpublished rates" and it was a no cancellations, no refunds situation. Well, I learned my lesson.....

“Would not stay there again.”

The hotel was a remodel, not a hotel built as a Holiday Inn Express. Room was very, very small, hard to even walk through. Bathroom, you could hardly turn around in it, luckily my husband and I aren't large people. There were smoking rooms across the hall which means that the halls smell of smoke or the sickening spray that they use in the rooms or in the halls to cover the smell. Staff was accomadating and the breakfast was the usual quality of a Holiday Inn Express. We stay at Holiday Inn Expresses because we know what to expect of our room, Etc. This didn't meet of expectations.

“Not A Good Service”

We have stayed in several Holiday Inns but had the worst hotel service issue. We checked in around 6pm and we were given a smoking room. I have serve medical conditions and could not sleep in the smoking room but the guy at the reception said" you are too late for check-in, can not give you a non-smoking room".
