Difficult check inPosted Apr 27, 2015
Cons: Everything from staff to rooms, elevators, bathrooms....
Location: I had dinner at Tsunami, very good food and very reasonably priced. Have a look at Sturbucks near the circle, it is in a basement, amazing!
Upon arrival I was told that my room was a queen, I explained that on the reservation it was clearly stated King and I had paid for it. Their initial response was that the agreement with "external" was that they would have given what available!!! I complained and after some discussion was able to get a king bed, but it was very disappointing the general attitude of the staff. Hotel is old and in desperate need of renovation, elevators show how long have been there. Room was tiny and very noisy, had to switch off refrigerator to be able to sleep, not to talk about the vent in the bathroom and the dripping shower. Only good thing to say is location, everything in a walkable distance. No way I will be back!

Hotel is a bit dated but remains comfortable. The soap dish in the shower was broken and barley hanging on. Staff at check in we're welcoming.

DO NOT be fooled by the pictures!!!Posted Apr 25, 2015
First off,you have to pay for valet parking. There is no free parking and no free shuttle for that matter. The hotel is old,and it smells like it! The restaurant-bar was always empty. I took my mom on a week long vacation and was so disappointed in this hotel. Even more so when we visted the Loews Hotel one block down!!! It's like comparing an old super 8 to a Marriott!! Loews was exactly what we expected out of O'Callaghans but didn't get. Please don't be fooled by their website photos and do more research on it!!

Easter weekendPosted Apr 12, 2015
Temperature in our original room rose to 86+ degrees the first morning. We advised the front desk and went out for the day. Upon return we were advised it could not be repaired. Although the front desk staff had changed shifts the current attendee was fully aware of the situation and had already secured a choice of 2 rooms for us to relocate to. Excellently handled.

Great ValuePosted Mar 9, 2015
My husband and I stayed overnight in Annapolis for a quick getaway. O'Callaghan's was a quick drive to shopping and the historic sites. We probably could have walked to downton shopping if the weather was nice. The hotel was very clean and the perfect price for our overnight stay.

Friendly & Helpful Staff - I'll be backPosted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Very helpful staff. I always appreciate that.
Cons: The halls and rooms could have a little updating.
Location: Very close to the heart of Downtown Annapolis. Easy walking distance to the state capital.
O'Callghans is very convenient to Downtown Annapolis. I appreciate the fact they offer free wi-fi in the rooms - not all hotels in Annapolis offer that. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, a little outdated but still nice. And the price was excellent.

Old hotel and dirty. Pile of dirt on the floor when we got there and after two days it was still there when we left. The food at the restaurant is horrible. The valet was very nice though and seemed to be the hardest working employee.
