Very close to the beach.

Room smelt musty. Shower curtain appeared to have mold. Black mark on sheets like cigarette ash

Nothing fancy. For the price we thought we it was a decent room. The room smelled musty upon arrival, but we became accustomed to it soon.

Not what I expected

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: It is very close to Annapolis, its only redeeming quality
No hot water, no ice machine, no tv remote, not many channels on tv.

Pros: Location and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: The cleaning of the room was not very good. Food scraps and crumbs were everywhere. No TV remote; few channels (no weather channel). Tub had mold.
Location: Annapolis! What can I say. So much to do and such a great place for food, entertainment, history and shops.
The bed was great and the heater/AC worked well. Regfrige. was working well. I did not expect much for the low price of the room and I was not disappointed.

Overall my stay great I would come back. They did rest there clocks so I earlier then need be, but that's OK I should have checked.

Website deception

We found the hotel on expedia then checked the hotel web site. The website is in no way a representation of the hotel. The pictures showed a great lobby, indoor pool and exercise room. When we pulled into the hotel lot and saw the bates motel we were very surprised. The rooms were clean, with working AC, fridge and TV. It was an overall good experinece as long as you know what you are getting into.

All the hotels were booked and this was inexpensive and had a room left. The room had an old wet carpet smell to it. Be it clean, it left my wife and I with a creepy crawly feeling. The mattresses had no cover, the bathroom had a bath-fitter over a moldy and mildew frame. We would not ever chance this place again. The staff was fine, but the entire place is due for a make over to bring it up to date.
