We arrived at almost 1pm following a Redskins game. The folks at the desk were very helpful in helping us plan our day in Annapolis. We loved eating at Chick and Ruth's - a delightful local delly on Main Street, but we could have eaten free Danish pastries with coffee outside on the deck or inside the hotel. Valet parking was worth the $24 daily rate. Anytime we needed the car they brought it around to the front of the hotel after we called from our room. The Governor Calvert House is truly an historic inn with lots of history in the hotel itself. Don't miss the tour at the Maryland Capital Building right across the street.

Reviews of Embassy Suites Hotel Baltimore at BWI Airport

“I was staying here with my girlfriend for a weekend of visiting Inner Harbor. The drive in and back was so simple and easy. The hotel staff was great with directions no matter where we inquired about going. The roads were easily marked and easy to find, but on top of that, the hotel had a list of attractions that they already had printed out directions for easy access. They also had many local restaurants identified with easy to follow directions, both to and back from the attraction. From the buffet cooks, to the room service attendants, to the front desk people everyone was so polite, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.”

“We actually chose to stay here because of its locality to the BMI airport and the shuttle but it turned out to be a nice hotel that we plan to return to. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our 2 year old loved the fish in the dining area/bar. The complimentary happy hour was a nice touch. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet.”

“My family and I went to Baltimore to go see two NFL football games in the same day. The weekend staff did an amazing job of helping us with train directions and shuttle service. The drivers were awesome and the front desk was very friendly as well. With a good breakfast to start each day, it was the best hotel experience I have had.”

Reviews of Extended Stay America Annapolis-Admiral Cochrane Drive

“This hotel is pretty good! It is close to Annapolis as well as Washington, DC. I usually stay here whenever I am in the area. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and well kept, and it is pretty quiet as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone heading into the area.”

“This hotel offered a great value for the money we paid. We got a two-room suite with a kitchen for the price of a one room at other hotels. The hotel staff was very helpful and quick to deliver extra blankets and pillows upon request. The only drawback I saw was the room was not as clean as it should have been. Their doors and wood work were really in need of being wiped off.”

“I was very happy with this hotel considering the lower price paid. What keeps the price low is that they do not have daily maid service. A plus is that there is a full-size oven and refrigerator and plenty of dishes. We were only there one night so much of that did not matter to us. What made my choice to stay there was that I am a mother of 4 children and in very few places are you able to have 5 people in one room! This room had 2 double beds plus a sleeper sofa. It was that factor alone that I based my hotel choice on. I was pleased with our stay!”

Reviews of Laurel Grove Inn on the South River

“This place was fantastic. The family there was incredibly nice and welcoming. Made us feel right at home. The inn itself is beautiful with a magnificent view of the river. It was snowy while we were there, which was nice, but we will definitely be going back in warmer weather to enjoy more outdoor activities and appreciate the scenery. Overall our stay was great. Our room was nice with many windows and an electric fireplace that kept us nice and toasty. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I will be recommending it to my friends and family. If you want a room to stay for the night, this is probably not the place for you. It is an overall experience. People to converse with in the day and evening and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. With great views and plenty to do on the property.”

“We had a very pleasant overnight at this B&B overlooking the South River. The innkeepers were hospitable and had anticipated what we would like to have in our room. Yet, they are not intrusive- so you make yourself at home. This is a 60s-70s house converted to a B&B so you feel like you are in someone’s home. Also means some furnishings and facilities are a bit dated. But, that is not a detraction I would give much consideration to. Not luxury, but certainly great for cost and compared to many others.”

“Lovely inn in a beautiful location and so conveniently close to Annapolis! The amenities and service were first class. Wonderful and attentive innkeepers!”

    Reviews of Loews Annapolis Hotel

“We checked in to our room, which was very easy since it was paid for in advance. We received two room keys, and were given directions to our room. The woman at the front desk also provided us with a map of the town as well as directions to walk to the sailboat show in town that weekend. We were also informed that a complimentary trolley was available to bring us to the show. The rooms and hallways were kept very clean and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely be staying in this hotel again for the US Sailboat show during the fall this year.”

“Our family had a wonderful time. We chose the hotel because it was rated so highly, plus the fact that we could bring our dog. The hotel was so friendly, so beautiful, and they were very accommodating with our dog and friendly to him as well.”

“I had picked the Loews Annapolis Hotel blindly on Expedia because of its proximity to the waterfront area and because it was considerably less expensive that the Marriott. I was in town for pleasure - visiting my son who was working there. It was a pleasant surprise from the beginning, especially when I was able to check in early and have the valet give me perfect walking directions to my lunch meeting location. The in-and-out parking was convenient and we also took advantage of the fitness center (has apples!). The rooms were updated and comfortable, plus the front desk staff took the initiative to put our room near the fitness center since I had asked about it. I highly recommend this hotel.”

    Reviews of Aloft Arundel Mills

“The drive is a bit further from BWI than the other Aloft location but it places it within walking distance to many amenities. Restaurants, the mall, a grocery store, even a casino are only a brief walk away. The pool was clean and a life guard was present on both visits. On one visit the pool temperature was a bit brisk but on the other it was comfortably warm. Hotel staff are always most pleasant and accommodating.”

“Excellent weekend. I have stayed here more than fifty times. So user-friendly, perfect atmosphere for adults as well as kids.”

“This was a nice place to get away for a weekend or just one night with a special someone. It's clean, modern, trendy, and the staff was friendly. The shuttle service was very useful, as the mall and casino were right across the street. It was an ideal spot for a hotel, with restaurants and entertainment nearby. There was no microwave in our room, which I was expecting to have. Perhaps there was a miscommunication. The hotel seemed well cared for, and it was an overall lovely stay. There is a pool and a fitness center as well. My only qualm was that in the shuttle the seatbelt buckle behind the driver's seat was not working for the seatbelt. I realize it was only 3 minutes to the mall, but I prefer to wear a seatbelt no matter what. Other than that, the shuttle was prompt, warm (which is nice in January!), and had a friendly driver."

    Reviews of Comfort Inn Annapolis

“We had tickets for the Annapolis boat show, but did not want to spend much on our overnight stay. The hotel was perfect. Minutes away from downtown Annapolis off route 301, the hotel was clean and very nice. The room was spotless. Bathroom, furniture, bedding, no complaints. The continental breakfast even had hot scrambled eggs and bacon. So after a good night’s rest, with a good cup of coffee and some fresh fruit and eggs in my belly, we started our day. Highly recommend, if you just need a clean place to sleep for the night. By the way, right next to the hotel is a convenience/liquor store open till 2am in case you get a sweet tooth or just want a night cap.”

“Stayed for the weekend. Great price for the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. Daughter left something behind when we left. Called to ask them if housekeeping found anything. Manager personally checked room and found item. Very happy with service!”

“Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I slept really well. Breakfast was simple, but good. They had one of those waffle makers where you can make your own fresh waffles. Love those. Overall nice stay.”

Reviews of Hilton Garden Inn Annapolis

“The hotel is very nice -- everything in excellent condition. Not too close to the center of Annapolis, but I knew that ahead of time. Would definitely stay there again!”

“We chose the hotel mainly because of its location, but also on customer ratings and price. We were completely satisfied with our choice: the room was large and well furnished; it was clean and well presented; the staff was very welcoming; the foyer is large and airy; it had an open fire in the foyer; we came and went with zero fuss; the price was exceptionally good for the quality of our stay.”

“Arrived late after maneuvering lots of traffic around DC area. Fire in fireplace, free warm beverages, friendly faces, great bed. What more could you ask for? Did not have time to sample the breakfast the next day, but looked inviting. Would definitely stay here again.”

Reviews of SpringHill Suites by Marriott Annapolis

“The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Location was convenient for us, and breakfast bar was stocked and very good.”

“We really loved this hotel. We spent all of our touring time in historic Annapolis, but this was very easy to get to and more affordable than what we could have gotten downtown. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was perhaps the best I've had at a chain hotel. I highly recommend this place!”

“Great stay. Very nice room. We were visiting the Naval Academy with our son. Front desk staff was very helpful in recommending restaurant and parking options.”

Reviews of Extended Stay America Annapolis - Womack Drive

“Very clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here, and the staff was friendly.”

“Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Only missing hot coffee in the morning.”

“The hotel was very adequate for our stay. We basically needed a bed and the room was a nice efficiency apartment with a refrigerator and a stove. It's not The Westin, but the bed was just as good. I would gladly stay there again for the money it saved.”

    Reviews of Sheraton Annapolis Hotel

“The bed was very comfortable and both the pool and fitness center were enjoyed. The place was kept clean in spite of the wet weather outside. We were surprised, but grateful to receive complimentary breakfast passes after having to wait just an extra five minutes to check-in. My eggs were cold, but the rest of the food was yummy.”

“Our expectations were exceeded. The off-season last-minute rate was exactly what we were looking for. Despite the bargain pricing, we were pleasantly surprised with the amenities and conditions.”

“Best hotel stay for me in years. Everything from the room, food, and staff was excellent. This hotel is close to everything, and I mean everything. Movie theater, bank, medical, and a mall that has lots to look at or purchase. I will be returning.”

Reviews of Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Annapolis

“Very clean hotel! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Location was perfect to all sights and major roadways. We will definitely stay there again!”

“Always a great stay! Staff is always welcoming and professional. My room is always clean and comfortable. Thanks again!”

“Love the location. The mall was close by and downtown was easy to get to. The hotel was clean and the breakfast layout was very nice. Everyone was very nice. The pool was great!”

Reviews of Hampton Inn & Suites Annapolis

“Always a good stay, third visit in the last year. We visit family in the area. Facility is clean and well maintained. The free breakfast is always a hit with the kids, especially the waffles.”

“We enjoyed staying in your hotel. It was so clean and comfortable. We felt safe and all your staff was extremely helpful. Your service and food were excellent. We would stay in your hotel again.”

“Terrifically comfortable and convenient for a dog-friendly hotel. Quality of accommodations exceeded our expectations, and they offered a complimentary hot breakfast bar. What's not to like?”

    Reviews of Best Western Annapolis

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. Called right after checking to make sure room was okay. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Hot breakfast was provided with a good selection. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Arrived two hours before check-in asking only if we could have a 1st floor room. Not only were we given a 1st floor room, but the woman who helped us made sure it was near the lobby and checked us in immediately. The continental breakfast took care of the very different eating desires of my husband and me for our early morning departure. The room was exceptionally neat and clean. When we checked out I felt as though leaving an old friend. Great visit!”

“We spent the night here before we ran the Annapolis marathon. The first thing we noticed was how clean the room smelled, and it was toasty warm- it was in the 30's outside. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We requested a late checkout so we could get cleaned up and rest after our race, and they gave us until 1pm with no hassle.”

    Reviews of Annapolis Marriot Waterfront

“The rooms were fine, but the concierge/valet really made the stopover a very good experience. We were treated like VIPs, for a simple overnight stay. Charming location, easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Excellent location right on the waterfront. Dining on the docks gives one impression of dining in the Caribbean, especially with the traffic on the water. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. The Marriott Annapolis Waterfront is the best way to experience Annapolis on the Chesapeake.”

“Perfect weekend from the sunny 70 degree weather to the fabulous food to the end of the day when we dove into our king-sized soft and comfy bed with tons of pillows that nestled us into a dreamy night’s sleep. Once again the Annapolis Marriott showed us what the standard should be in well run first class hotel!”

Reviews of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis

“When we first checked-in, the person who helped us was very nice and welcoming. The next day at breakfast, everyone was really nice. We also liked the comfort of the room and how clean it was.”

“Hotel is close to everything Annapolis. Ate in Hotel restaurant and the food and service were excellent and very affordable.”

“Comfortable, clean, and a good location. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, there's a town center right across the street, and the Annapolis Harbor area is only a 10 minute drive.”

Reviews of Historic Inns of Annapolis

“Great hotel. Within walking distance to everything. Very clean. Great staff and the valet service is worth the price. Can’t wait to return.”

“Valet parking was very convenient; staff was very friendly and helpful; room was comfortable. The location of the Maryland Inn is ideal for taking in downtown Annapolis and Academy events. The breakfast at the Treaty of Paris restaurant downstairs was delicious. Don't miss the sunrise over the harbor from the second story porch!”

“The staff was immediately there to take our bags and eager to assist in anyway. Minutes after settling into our room there was a knock at the door, it was room service with a complimentary bottle of champagne. They had heard we had gotten married that morning. Overall it was the perfect place to stay!”

    Reviews of O'Callaghan Annapolis Hotel

“Great hotel well located in downtown Annapolis. All of the staff was very gracious. Great 5PM happy hour. Nice folks in there. Room fine. Clean and well appointed. I had read some less than stellar reviews, but we found no problems. Valet parking worked for us as our car was loaded because we were traveling from Florida north. Highly recommend. Circulator bus stop right outside. Good job O'Callaghan's!”

“Loved this place. Gorgeous and well-kept room. Nice mini-fridge for our food and drinks. Beautiful downstairs bar and excellent location. Just a nice walk away from main street and dining/going out options.”

“Attentive staff and clean hotel. Nice clean place to rest your head in Annapolis. Still on upper main street with good restaurants and bars within walking distance.”

    Reviews of The Westin Annapolis

“A jewel of comfort. From doorman to check in, room service, house keeper all delightfully pleasant.”

“I recently attended a training conference in Annapolis, which was held at the Westin Annapolis. I arrived early and was able to check in. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was immaculate. Staff was very pleasant, but housekeeping was definitely on their “A game.” My room was picked up (they even folded my dirty clothes I had left on the bed.) Front desk staff was helpful and friendly in providing suggestions for dinner. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at the Westin Annapolis.”

“We were only here for one night, but the hotel was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. Free rides to downtown were a plus and the area was kept in very good condition. We'd stay here again.”

Reviews of Courtyard by Marriott Annapolis

“The beds were soooo comfortable, and I loved there were no heavy bedspreads that only get washed 2x a year. It was so obvious the bedding was clean and fresh! We loved it and got a great night's sleep :-). The breakfast good was great and the employees were all respectful, kind, and caring!”

“My room was set up so that I could comfortably watch TV and work from the sofa. It felt more like a home and less like a hotel room. Also, the staff was extremely helpful when I cut my trip a day short and needed help changing the reservation with the online hotel booking agency I used. A+ Definitely staying here again.”

“Lobby area is multipurpose--breakfast &coffee in am, bar and mixing place in pm. Well appointed for small business conferences. TV and couches to watch the game at night. Great location for Navy football game as right across the street from FREE park and ride. Would stay here again.”

Reviews of Comfort Inn Conference Center

“We were in town for a Navy football game. The hotel was convenient to Annapolis as we planned this too late to reserve a room in Annapolis. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel. The surrounding area was not pedestrian friendly, but there were restaurants and some shopping in the area.”

“Stayed here overnight because of a seminar. Excellent breakfast buffet! Lots to choose from. The hostess was very friendly and talkative. Would definitely stay there again.”

“My husband and I chose this hotel for our visit to the Annapolis Sail Boat Show. The staff members were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. This was the first time we stayed at a Comfort Inn and we were very impressed with the quality of the room and very impressed with the complimentary hot breakfast. We will be increasing our patronage of Comfort Inn going forward.”

Reviews of Scotlaur Inn Bed & Breakfast

“Perfect location for a mini getaway, serve a heck of a good free breakfast in the Delly downstairs, and wonderful staff. Always a pleasure.”

“Great location for setting off by foot to enjoy Annapolis. Small room, but that was what we expected. Window did not open, but a/c was very easy to operate. Staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast included with stay was great. We also appreciated the parking voucher for discounted parking in the garage. We will stay here again if we have a chance to return to Annapolis.”

“Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and I was within walking distance to everything, downtown, waterfront, and Rams Head Tavern for a show. Everyone at the hotel and in the Delly made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again. Be sure that you have at least one of their amazingly delicious chocolate cookies.”

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I was in town for some business and some sightseeing and the location was great. Within a short drive I was able to catch metro into DC, drive to the beach, as well as Mt Vernon. The room also had an area to do work on my laptop. I would definitely consider saying here again and have already recommended it to a friend. Very nice. This is a great place for families.”

We were near the pool, which was nice for going back and forth. I loved the large refrigerator and kitchen. Will love to go back in winter and enjoy the fireplace that was in our room also!!! Very nice place.”
