“A Wonderful Nova Scotia Signature Resort and Spa Facility”

The hotel and grounds in late May were wonderful with lots of flowering shrubs and immaculately groomed. The hotel staff was very, very helpful and the hotel is very well run, well kept and has very comfortable accommodations. The water views of Digby harbour and Bay of Fundy are spectacular and the meals were very delicious. I really enjoyed my visit to this resort and spa. It also has a spa on site and a wonderful outdoor pool surrounded by glass walls. The water in late May was 80 degrees F. and swimmers were enjoying the very relaxing and clean facilities at this resort and spa facility. I would love to go back each year for a visit there.

“I Want to Go Back!”

This is a beautiful old hotel. Unfortunately, we only had one night here. I would have loved more. The room was large and comfortable. The views were amazing. The restaurant was good, but eating in the bar was a lot more fun!!! Yummy drinks too! If you have a chance to visit, do so...

“Great get-a-way.”

Nature trail, outdoor heated pool, tennis (free use of racquets and balls)all on site. Their golf couse is only about a mile away. Classic elegance and fine dining.

“The Pines, I cant wait to go back”

When I checked in, they asked if I had stayed there before! Yes, my last visit was in 1962! The Pines is a graceful old resort, very mature and much better maintained than I expected. It resonates with an air of comfort and tranquiltiy. The bedrooms are comfortable, tasteful but a bit plain. However the dining room for dinner was exceptionally good. The whole meal and service was outstanding!

staff was great, food was wonderful,great location only issue they say they have wi- fi but when we culd connect ift was extremely slow & would stop. would stay there again.

“Lovely resort close to ferry terminal”

Really enjoyed this golf resort and spa conveniently located near Digby ferry terminal for the ferry that runs between Digby, Nova Scotia and St. John, New Brunswick. We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage, which could comfortably accommodate 4-6 people (there is a double bed and twin bed in each bedroom). Furniture and decor were somewhat dated, but room was still comfortable. Cottage had a fireplace which was set up for your use every night-- perfect for chilly nights in Nova Scotia (even during the summer!). Spa was great and staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet (included in price of room) was excellent. Hotel and some cottages have lovely view of the Annapolis basin. The resort's fitness center was small and very basic.

“Quaint Beautifully Restored hotel.”

This is a beautiful property that has been wonderfully restored. The rooms are extremely small but reflect the turn of the century room size. We really enjoyed our stay as it was only one night. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than one night in such tiny quarters. Wonderful piano music in the bar. It was a a great place to stay coming off the ferry before going to Halifax.

“(Slightly) Faded Elegance”

Boiler was broken on arrival - no hot water. Repaired in a couple of hours. After that, visit was very relaxing and soothing. Spa services were superb; golf course excellent; walking trails, outdoor recreation in fine shape. Price was exceptional considering what dumpy motels elsewhere charged. Dinner was expensive, but worth it. Gret full breakfast included.

“Generally wonderful!”

We were very impressed with the facility and our room. Meals were very nice as well. The mattress in our room was well used and sagged toward the middle. Otherwise, all was first rate.
