Lovely small hotel with courtyard and pool.

Posted May 17, 2014
Pros: The location in Kalieci, the comfortable bed, cozy sitting room and the secluded courtyard with its orange trees and flowers.
Cons: There was a water leak in the bathroom. The breakfast was mediocre with no fresh fruit. The safe in the room was frustratingly hard to operate.
Location: The entire old city is not very large, and is fun to explore. The museum in Antalya is world-class - a must do, as is the weekly "farmer's market" .
This great spot would have been perfect - except that on our second day there, workmen moved in, surrounding the entire building with giant scaffolding, preparing to paint the exterior. This spoiled our view, ruined the privacy of the lovely courtyard and deterred us from using the pool. In addition, some interior refinishing was done close to our room, with an attendant strong smell of varnish. On top of this, one day our room was not cleaned! We politely requested a discount when we checked out - none was given. Very disappointing.

Pros: room, view, public areas, staff
Cons: noise level from outside at night, which really isn't in the hotel's control
Location: The Antalya archaeological museum is one of the best I've ever seen.
The room was truly nice and had a lot of character, as did the whole building; it's one of the cooler hotels in which we've stayed. The view from our room was great, and the garden is beautiful - fruit trees, flowers, sun and shade; a great spot for breakfast. It would be remiss of me not to mention the audible music from a nearby club in the evenings. We were there on a weekend, so perhaps it was worse than during the week, but there was fairly loud music every night until 2:30 or 3am. I hate having to mention this, but if you are at all a light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room not on the water side.

Charming Hotel in Old Town Antalya

Posted Mar 14, 2014 on Hotels
Overall a great experience at Deja Vu. The location is great, tucked away in the heart of Old Town, easy walking distance from all sorts of sights, cafes and shops. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful and accomodating. The room was somewhat small, but quite charming, as is the entire hotel. A relaxing afternoon was spent sitting in the lovely courtyard full of citrus trees, enjoying a few cups of their capuccino, and making use of the free WiFi on my tablet. I'd happily go back.

Overnight Stay

Posted Jan 19, 2014 on Hotels
I arrived the hotel almost mid-night by the late flight from Istanbul however a night clerk was welcome me freindly to arrange a check in. A corner room with three windows was a decent size and clean and it was enough for a single traveler. It was a bit noisey at out-side on Saturday night but I could sleep well - no problem.

Nice room with queen size bed. Enjoyed a sea view with small balcony. Wow. So beautiful. Ask for Room 201. You won't be disappointed. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Nice breakfast. - The people of Antalya are so friendly and kind.

Pros: The location, the helpful manager, good sized room and bathroom
Cons: Bedding on queen sized bed is 2 small, rough sheets which do not fit the bed.
Location: Walking distance to the markets, tram, marina, restaurants, central in the old town.
Very helpful manager, great position in the Old Town, nice breakfast, all facilities provided in the rooms eg toiletries, hair dryer etc, medium sized room, outside pool.

Nice hotel boutique.

Pros: Location and stafg
Cons: Weak wifi internet in my room. The guided tour that they sell for Pamukkale is not very good. They should change their tour supplier.
Location: Very good. 3 mins walk from tramway
Nice hotel well located into the old part of the city. Very good customer service.

Plusses and minuses - Dejavu

Posted Nov 19, 2012 on Hotels
First of all, there is excellent and friendly englishspeaking customerservice, good location, good enough breakfast and so totally hotel is worth of payment. But there are also some negative things too (to develope): In the mornings there exists smell of smoking in the room, noise of near musicrestaurants (end at 01.00) and "islamseremony" (at 05.30) cut the good sleepingtime to only 4.5 hours (not hotels fault), outside on the way to hotel is very unclean (paint the wall and take the trashes away), roomdoor made terrible noise (needs oil), no coffeeautomate, their 2 own housecats are too friendly with customers (so hotel is not suitable for allergic people or people who don´t like cats like me).
