The facilities are outstanding and their cleaning staff is doing an awesome job in keep everything spotless clean at all times.
The food is also very good specially the concepts they have established where u always have buffets and different high quality restaurants at your disposal all over the place. The bars make quite decent cocktails.
The main problem are the employees with direct contact with guests i.e. reception, guest relations and animators. The vast majority of them speak no english but russian.
We had 2 very disgusting situations where we were about to do an early checkout because of what happened.
A) i joined a meditation class and the teacher asked at the beginning -„who doesnt speak russian ?“ a couple of guys and me raised the hand, she said-„the class will be in russian.“
b) the 2nd experience was when my little son asked me to bring him to a handcraft workshop To our surprise and of some other international families the kids‘ animator went straight to talk to the kids in russian, she didn’t even dare to ask. I replied energically . „ in English please“ Then as she couldnt speak english she called another colleague and said“ what is the problem you cant mimic what she is doing?“
This hotel treats non russian guests as 2nd plate, reason why they only hire russian employees to take care of the kids.
2)The animation team is poor they have lots of activities but they dont promote them.
