lovely hotel , in a good location
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Location: good location for the old city nearby to some really nice restaurants
we had booked a transfer with the hotel but it didn't arrive so had to get a taxi , it wasnt much more expensive but just a bit inconvenient . The hotel didnt offer any apologies which didnt give a very good first impression , but after that we had no complaints . the rooms were kept very clean and tidy , the only down side was the shower , even though it was perfectly clean it was a bit shabby compared to the rest of the hotel . flaky paint and a bit of let down . lovely hot water though . We ate one night in the Kaftani restaurant not realising that there wasnt a menu , just a set dinner , there wasnt a price shown anywhere and it was nearly as expensive as the Seraser restaurant which was a much superior meal . all in all we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel to couples though not really suitable for young children

Great Hotel
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Staff, service, access to things I wanted to see.
Cons: Getting in and out of bath.
Location: In Old Town area, plenty of markets, shops, cafes etc. easy access to anywhere you want to go.
I was very happy with Tuvana Hotel. The staff were particularly helpful. The hotel is a set of complexes, very comfortable rooms, and I had one of the standard rooms. Very well situated in the old town, very convenient to sights, monuments, shops, ATMs, etc. very good advice from staff regarding getting to places such as Lara Beach, the harbour. Restaurant quite good. Wi fi access worked quite well. I had shower over the bath tub, and found getting in and out of bath not great, but good hot water, and very clean rooms and bathroom. I was on ground floor, and felt very secure. Very good hotel, I would stay there again anytime.

Comfort, class, and close proximity to sights
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Tuvana is centrally located in the Kaleici District of Antalya, where most of the city's sights are within walking distance including the ancient Roman harbor and views of the towering mountains. The breakfast was well-rounded and filling, and the outdoor bar/cafe/patio was nice for a mid-afternoon Turkish coffee. The room was tastefully done, clean, and comfortable. We arrived very late from our flight on Saturday night/Sunday morning but the hotel attendant and porter were waiting for us. It was very difficult to find the Hotel via a rented car through the narrow alley's of Kaleici, so we recommend parking in an "otopark" and asking around for Tuvana, then returning with the porter to your car (they will move your car to their lot). Wish we would have stayed an extra night. Recommended to those who enjoy comfort, class, and close proximity to historical sites.

Great Hotel, Great Location, Stayed a second time
Posted Jan 27, 2013
Pros: Location Location Location
Cons: Beds in the room
Location: Second to none
You can't get anymore centrally located than at this hotel. Literally in the center of the old city, almost all sights in Antalya are within walking distance. The restaurant is very classy and hotel guests get a 10% discount. Parking is free (normally costs over $100 per day to bring a car into the old city, so major +). The owner speaks excellent English and the front desk has maps and brochures relating to almost anything one would want to do in the city as well as the surrounding region (Mont Olympus, Xanthos, Pamukkale, etc). The hotel is a converted old home and the room we had was a bit awkwardly laid out as the bathroom was clearly an afterthought and added right next to the bed. Otherwise, this hotel was exquisite and I highly recommend it.

Great Hotel, chilly in winter
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Excellent location, really nice room and decent restaurant. Only downside was I was there in December and the heating in the room was a bit weak, but for summer travellers this wont be a problem as the air conditioning would be great! Well worth using.

Staff couldn't be more helpful. In beautiful part of old town Antalya yet close to the main new part of the city. Breakfast good. Plan to go there again early next year.

Luxury and Opulence

A little tricky or find in the narrow labyrinth of streets but if you can take the first entrance, at the clock tower, into the old town off Ataurk Caddesi then it's only a few streets in. Look out for the small signs pointing the way to the Tuvana hotel. I cannot fault anything about this hotel, without exception all staff were incredibly and genuinely friendly and helpful. Having discovered I'd left my laptop behind when I arrived at my next destination, almost 500 kilometres away, the reception staff very efficiently arranged to have it couriered to me at a very nominal cost. We ate twice at the hotel's fine dinning restaurant, Sereser, which was excellent and didn't break the bank as was lunch in the beautifully tranquil courtyard restaurant. Our room was luxuriously appointed in thet traditional Ottoman style and the marbled bathroom was fully functional with modern facilities. The room was spotlessly clean as were the communal areas, restaurants and gardens. I would not have any hesitation on recommending the Tuvana hotel as The place to stay in the old town of Antalya. We will definitely be returning.
