Loved it!Posted Mar 25, 2013
Location: Restaurants are pricey.
My wife and I were skeptical at first about staying at this hotel after reading some of the reviews on Tripadvisor and Expedia, but we were extremely happy with everything. We stayed only for two nights in this area but honestly could have stayed for the whole time. The beach is 10 min walk and its really pretty and clean. THe hotel staff is very friendly and gave us many good advised on everything. Nice, clean and comfortable!

Pros: Very spacious and great views of Falmouth harbour from balcony
Cons: Can't think if any
Location: Perfect, close to both Nelson's Dockyard in English harbour and Falmouth harbour.
Great location, close to restaurants and bars. Convenient for provisions if sailing. Bike and car rentals close by

The staff make the difference!Posted Mar 6, 2013
The AYCM is in a great location at Falmouth Harbour and within walking distance to English Harbour and several restaurants and stores. A great place to start or finish your sailing charter. The staff offer friendly personalized service and accomodated every request we made. I would definately return and reccomend AYCM to others.

Very nice location with a view of the Yacht Club and marina. No beach but very close to restaurants and clubs which cater to the big boats. The Yacht Club bar is quite loud at night but friendly. Most of the people you will meet are Yacht crews. You are a 25 minute drive to the capital but a 10-minute walk to Nelson's Dockyard (a must see - great restaurants and bars)and airport. Pay WiFi but free WiFi at the coffee shop across the road overlooking the marina.

Good for overnight stay.Posted Feb 18, 2013
Cons: Maintenance and comfort.
Location: Good location, plenty of bars and restaurants.
It was disappointing as this resort we had seen 4 years ago and had not been maintained, therefore we had to report many things faulty eg Safe, Toilet, telephone also furniture seems to have been removed and the bed needed a new was very hard. The resort itself was maintained eg gardens and in a good location and wonderful view over the marina. The staff were very helpfull considering the circumstances, but it would only be suitable for a couple of nights stay at the most.

Good location, but room not as good as expectedPosted Jan 8, 2013
Cons: Very plain interior rooms
Location: Just across the street from the Yacht Club and public dock with nice views of the harbor
The accommodations just do not seem up to their full potential. A good location and nice exterior, but the interior was not decorated and did not "feel" comfortable. The kitchen had some basic pots and pans, but it would be tough to do much cooking for the large group that a place this size could potentially handle. In this price range, there may be better options.
