Staff was Exellant!Posted Jun 6, 2013
Feona the manager was very nice, welcoming, and helpful. The location was perfect for me and the area had everything I wanted. Very cosy and pleasant. I will definitely return here in the future.

Great Getaway for ExplorersPosted Apr 15, 2013
Pros: Friendly and attentive staff
Location: The hotel sits right on the harbour- pool is great - harbour swimming is decent
My husband and I stayed at the Catamaran for our honeymoon. The staff was exceptional and helped us to arrange transportation and activities. Every day the staff swept the walks, combed the sand and kept the hotel in very nice condition. The efficiency-type room was comfortable with air conditioning and a kitchen stocked with pans/plates/silverware so we could cook our own meals. I look forward to returning again, but would arrange a room with a larger bed versus the 2 double beds.

budget hotelPosted Apr 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
loud music from a nearby property played day and night, at three days, over a long Easter holiday. Hotel staff said they could not stop the LOUD music. water leaked into the room three different times because of rain. no hot water for two days. some amenities were not provided as per hotel descritption. This is a out dated hotel. A budget hotel at best.

A charming small hotelPosted Mar 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved the low key atmosphere, spacious bedroom, gorgeous view, friendly helpful staff, position of the hotel and kitchen facilities. The only problem was the erratic hot water in a rather tired bathroom, which needs refurbishment.

Quiet location, close enough to Falmouth HarbourPosted Feb 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
On the beach, in a quiet location but close enough to Falmouth and English Harbour's. The hotel was colonial in style rather than modern which we found very attractive. Some of the dinghies available for guest use could do with fixing, only a couple we found serviceable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We had a very good week and would certainly stay again.

Best kept secret!Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Fantastic value for money and top staff!
Cons: A little tired in areas.
Location: Perfect - on the beach with pool and near the town and other beaches.
We stayed at the Catamaran with our 2 children this summer and from the minute we arrived - we had a fab time. Within an hour the girls had been taken out sailing (for free!) by Robert - who couldn't be more helpful - he's a great asset to the place. Nothing was too much trouble for Fiona the manager either - from tips and advice - to sorting anything we asked for. The hotel has a lovely chilled out and laid back vibe. The beach is perfect and calm for youngsters and the pool's just what you need for a change. We had a ground floor family room - with kitchenette - great value for money and so near the town and other great beaches. Do not come here expecting high-class luxury and all it entails - this hotel does what it says on the can - a traditional - laid back Caribbean hotel with smashing helpful staff and top value for money. We would come back in an instant. A gem of a find! The Scotts - Surrey England

Family run waterfront hotel - Highly recommended!Posted Dec 11, 2012
Pros: Staff and location
Location: Waterfront, Overlooking Falmouth Harbour, Adjacent marina has cafe-bar, and another cafe/bar & supermarket 5mn walk away.
Lovely family run hotel, very keen to help yet relaxed and friendly at all times. Do not expect full 24hr business hotel facilities (though WiFi was v. good) - but do expect idyllic location and smiles - on your face as well as on the faces of your hosts! I'm disappointed I had no time on my business trip to enjoy the sailing dinghies - perhaps next time...
