“definitely recommend. it's the perfect place to unwind!”

The hotel is simple, yet beautiful, surrounded by ocean views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you need a place to go watch the ocean waves and forget the daily grind without all the activities and chaos of most all inclusives, this is it. Cocobay was serene and beautiful and I would highly recommend it.

“Just Fabulous”

It's amazing how private your cabin is. Dotted on a hillside overlooking the ocean, all views are great views. The private infinity pool off of our back deck was a wonderful way to cool down and yet never lose the view. Privacy is created with a trellis thick with gorgeous flowering vines and shrubs busily maintained by hummingbirds. There is also the resort's infinity pool with what has to be an award winning view - ocean but contrasted with hilly landscape forming bays where boats sail and birds soar. It's location near the bar is convenient. The restaurant is open air. Netting helps keeps many of the begging birds out, but not all. Cover your juice when you leave the table to go to the buffet. A few ceiling fans would have helped to make the environment more comfortable. The service was professional, efficient and courteous. The food was attractive- artful even, and quite delicious. There were variety, options and just the right amount. As well, there us always afternoon tea. The main beach was quite nice but as was noted in another review, there are sand fleas. We opted for the smaller beach in the cove. It's a quiet place. Evening entertainment is periodic and varied. A small boat is available to take for a sail. There is a central room with a large flat screen and couches -you can keep up with sports scores and news, if you wish.

“Honeymoon was great!”

Not typical all inclusive place. Not in touristy area of island but also not close to much of anything of interest besides beautiful ocean views! 3 Beaches to go to, 2 were ok but one was awesome! Need to provide bug repellant or candles. Shuttle would be nice $20 to anywhere on island on taxi!? Use private car rental its cheaper than tourist or airport avis ones, scooters are dangerous there! Food was great at dinner. Lunch and breakfast were adequate but not note worthy. Inclusive drinks were good. Tip the guys even though its all inclusinive, a little goes a long way!! Honeymoon beach view hut upgrade, flowers and champagne was nice touch! Tourguide wasnt too helpful, better off finding a local to "hook" you up foir less. Bargin and deal its easy. Do NOT stay at the sister hotel oacross the island, its a dump and not inclusinve!

“what you see is what you get”

We looked at the hotel's web page and were a little cynical as to what we would find - all I can say is "what you see is what you get" - we had a fabulous 2 weeks the staff welcome was warm and sincere and things just got better from there. The cottages are perched on the hillside giving fabulous views of the tropical beaches and deep turquoise seas. The rooms are rustic, but spacious and comfortable and leaving behind the 21st century technology was just the rest we needed. The rest of the hotel runs just as well, a beautiful restaurant with unbelievable views over the beach and ocean, sharing your meals with the local avian life can be a little unsettling to start with but hey! you can get used to anything. Yellow breasts, blackbirds and iridescant humming birds, black pelicans all provide the meal time entertainment. fully inclusive is new to us but the food was great, having dined out once or twice in expensive restaurants in St Johns we realised the food was better in our own hotel, inventive well cooked and service was friendly and efficient. The pool was clean and warm with plentiful loungers but with beuatiful beaches within a 100 yards we rarely used it. The hotel provide lots of chairs on the beach and the hotels dinghy and catamaran were always available for use. An ideal base for couples, but probably not an ideal place for young teens or disabled, there are lots of steps and few things to interest teens in the evenings.

“Best vacation ever!”

Our vacation was so peaceful and so relaxing. The staff is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend getting a room with a pool just because it adds to the experience, although im sure it great without it too. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful location on a headland. Individual cabins with views - each has a great verandah with hammock and deck chairs. Beach is right there. Small number of guests so quiet, intimate, romantic. Food was excellent.

“Relaxing and Beautiful- can't wait to go back”

Having looked at some reviews for this resort I was concerned before going. However I had nothing to worry about. The resort was in a beautiful location, with a wonderful beach and pool. If your looking for tv in rooms etc then this is not the place for you. But if you looking for a back to basic hotel (ie no tv's/air conditioning-which wasn't needed) then this is the ideal place.

“two years in a row and still loving it!!!!”

My Fiance and I visited this resort in 2007, meeting his family there, and had an awesome time!!! so this year we went with two of our friends, and it was just as great...The staff was awesome. The food was great... and the drink "pippi longstocking" at the bar was totally yummy!!! plan on being there again next year....We were there during carnival this year and it was so cool...cant wait to be there again!!!!

Couldn't say enough about how great all the staff and resort really was - the best time i have had on holiday - The food was amazing! and sights were breath taking - can't wait to revist - We had a wedding there and they full filled all our dreams and really had a amazing time....Thank you!!!!!!
