Beautiful hotel near the beach

Posted Jul 25, 2015
The staff, food and drinks were wonderful. The only issue is I attract bugs so I suggest if you're like me bring bug spray to prevent bug bites.

Stunning views

Posted Jul 24, 2015
We came here for our honeymoon and had a great time! The views were absolutely stunning and the hotel staff were great! The two drawbacks were the food was low quality and although the staff were super sweet and friendly, they were not proactive. A lot of our issues were not resolved but we overlooked them because of their sweet personalities.

This is the Hotel to recharge your mind and spirit

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Simplicity, location, food, service, very private
Cons: nothing, will be back without hesitate for a second.
Location: Best location, nothing to do besides a local boat trip (this is this place for, do nothing) ! GREAT!
For a world travelers who enjoy the simplicity of the best places and find the "real" virtue of the places and people, I have not doubt this is one of the best hotels ever visited. This is the place to go and do nothing but love your companion, recharge your spirit and body with the view of the world beauty. Laid on the beach for a total relax, no music, not TV, not noise, no shopping, not kids (love all) but not for this trip. The hotel was truly amazing! Beautiful individual simple cabins overlooking the best view ever. The staff made us feel like home, friendly and on top off all your needs without the nuisance of the big box hotels.

Great place to relax.

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: Everything! The food, location, amenities, and especially the attentive staff. Add the quiet, laid back feel and you have the perfect spot to unwind.
Cons: A chair with a reading light is needed in the cottages. We met the owner and he said he is aware of this and is working on this as we write.
Location: You can get jet skis, paddle boards, and kayaks there as well as sign up for any number of tours and day trips.
From the moment we were greeted at reception until the moment we left, the staff was the most attentive we have experienced in a long time. There are NO BUFFETS at this all inclusive getaway. You order from the menu, and the food was great and portions just right. If you have a special need/request you just ask and they will bend over backwards to try and accommodate your request. Andrea at reception was an absolute pleasure to meet. Be warned, this Hotel is on a hillside and reaching your private cottage is not for the faint of heart. Having said that, the views will be worth it. The beach is great and has shade available if you want it. Beautiful pool just off the beach and a well stocked beach bar help complete the items needed to make the perfect day complete.

Excellent! Everyone should go!

Pros: The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We truly felt like family by the time we left. The food was also excellent as well as the beach!
Cons: Nothing
Location: Circumnavigation tours, jet skis, lots of excursions if you want to get adventurous.
We went to Cocos for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The staff was amazing, the food was excellent and changed everyday and the surroundings and beauty of the hotel was so picturesque. Don't even think about going anywhere else. Our bungalows were adorable and super clean and the outside shower was wonderful. We can't say enough great things about our time there!

PARADISE PERFECTED

Posted Jul 3, 2015
We stayed for 3 nights in June and had an incredible time. We were totally blown away by the unbelievable view on arrival, and were continually amazed throughout the trip. the sea really is as blue as the pictures! The reception staff were all wonderful, in particular our welcome and send-off by Jennifer and Andrea really made us feel at home. All of the beach bar and restaurant staff were great too, we loved the food on offer and the views while you're eating are unbeatable. This is such a stunning setting and beautiful boutique hotel - we will surely be back! Another highlight is the outdoor showers overlooking the turquoise sea, the memory will stay with me forever.

Pros: The rooms were great, we stayed in one of the new ones that had a great view. The beach at the hotel could not have been nicer.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon there, the staff could not have been nicer! We had a great time in this awesome location. The food was delicious and the service during the meals was great.

Our stay was very pleasant. Service was great and since this place specializes on honeymoons, atmosphere was very quiet and romantic. Great food too.

Breathtaking views

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The views are stunning, absolutely breathtaking. Excellent location. Wonderful private beach. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the outdoor shower.
Cons: Bathrooms need updating. Entertainment was lacking (eg. live music). Food was mediocre (bland, little Crbn. flavor) and portions were too small.
Very peaceful hotel, my boyfriend and I escaped just for a few days and it's perfect if you need to fully relax. The beach is simply stunning, the views literally take your breath away. The area where breakfast/lunch/dinner is served overlooks the turquoise bay and is the most amazing backdrop to your meal. Service was mostly good but choppy at times. Disappointed with the food in terms of selection, flavor and portions. Little live entertainment offered (live music only 3 nights a week). Had some issues with our AC. No gym but your calf muscles will get quite the workout - it's quite the hike up if your room is higher up the hill. Would return to this resort in a heartbeat for the views and its rustic and authentic feel but not so much for the food or entertainment.

Nice hotel, romantic environment, average food

Posted Apr 27, 2015
The hotel is very cute, the rooms are romantically decorated, private, secluded. The staff is friendly and the beaches are everything you see in the pictures. Calm Aqua-blue waters that will take your breath away. If you are a foodie, this IS NOT the hotel, maybe even the island for you. Included drinks are limited to mixed drink, 2 types of local beers and really crappy wine. The champagne however is decent. there are scheduled times during the day to get food. If you miss the window, tough cookies, you'll have to wait until the next food window. The breakfast food is ok. Enough variety to make you through your first meal. Lunch menu is the same every day with one daily special. Again, not terrible but limited, the dinner menu was by far the most disappointing. There were days were nothing seemed appetizing, it's extemely limited. Two appetizers to choose from, 3 options for main courses (mostly average seafood) and 1 desert. There isn't much to explore in the island. Highly recommend a tour to the reef to snorkel, be careful with the punch!!!! Hope this helps !
