Property Amenities

Youngsters and teens can enjoy their own places to enjoy a full schedule of games and activities, both indoors and outdoors, created just for them. The Jolly Kidz Club for kids 3-12 years old boasts supervised activities and a well-equipped playground complete with slides, swings, and a sand pit. The Jolly Teenz Club for 13-16 years old features flat-screen televisions and video-game consoles.
Adult activities include competitions such as pool aerobics, calypso dancing, and lessons in the West Indian dialect. An air-conditioned fitness center contains stationary bicycles, stair machines, and treadmills, plus weight bench and free weights. A certified instructor is at the center during hours of operation (open daily, but closed during the midday heat).
A Cyber Café contains two computers with high-speed Internet access, a printer, and a scanner for e-mailing photographs (surcharges for all). A full-service wedding coordinator can work out the details of ceremonies conducted either in the on-site gazebo or on the beach (surcharge).
The Spa at Palms Wellness Center offers treatments such as stone therapy, soothing wraps, scrubs, and deep tissue massage. Special treatment packages are offered for young children and teenagers.

The Jolly Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive offers 462 guestrooms in 21 white-concrete, two-, three-, and four-story buildings arrayed around 16 hectares (40 acres) of tropical gardens. Access is by exterior corridors and stairways (no elevators). Simply furnished rooms are bright with white walls and ceilings; floors are ceramic tile; fabrics are tropical-colored; furniture is rattan. All guestrooms are nonsmoking.

Hemispheres - Jolly Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive's main restaurant is open-air with colorful table linens under glass. Open daily, it offers breakfast, lunch, and theme dinner buffets.
Ristorante Bocciolo - Indoor, air-conditioned, dinner-only Italian restaurant with antipasti bar and á la carte menu featuring homemade pasta. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men (no jeans, beach sandals, or athletic shoes for either men or women). Surcharges may apply for select menu items.
UTSAV - Cuisines from India served in intimate open-air setting featuring small rooms with blue cushions on built-in white benches. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men. Surcharges may apply for select menu items.
Lydia's Caribbean Seafood - Beachfront, nautical-themed, open-air spot surrounded by the neon-colored wood-stall vendors of the Crab Hole Village. Open for dinner and Sunday brunch with á la carte dinner choices such as grilled swordfish, crab/salmon cake, seared red snapper with passionfruit sauce, beer-battered conch. Reservations required. Surcharges may apply for select menu items.
Coconut Grill - Open-air grill between pool and beach serving burgers, jerk chicken, French fries. Open for lunch only.
Splash - Two-story wood structure with poolside bar and swim-up bar on lower level, covered seating offering panoramic sea view on upper level.
Entertainment Bar - Casual, colorful spot, that is part of a three-structure open-air complex of wood roofs supported by wood poles next to an expansive plaza. One structure shelters the bar, another the bandstand, and the third shelters the dance floor. Live music nightly.
Recreation

Guests of Jolly Beach Resort are free to use snorkeling gear, windsurfers, sailboats, kayaks, and pedal boats, four lighted tennis courts, and two full basketball courts. Complimentary beginners' scuba-diving lessons are offered in the main pool, with diving excursions available (surcharge). A games room which is part of the Cyber Café provides a pool table, table tennis, and darts. Other recreational opportunities include shuffleboard and cricket.

“Holiday Sun”
As ever in the Caribbean the hospitality was first rate. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and well equipped, the food varied and well prepared and the facilities allowed guests to get involved or to remain in quiet reflection - a super break in a troubled season of poor weather in the UK
“Unpretentious and fun”
A friendly staff, good food, beautiful beach and numerous activity options make for a very relaxing vacation spot.
“Good hotel, great beach, great surroundings!”
The hotel is exactly as expected, not luxury but clean. The superior queen (2nd floor) had a beautiful ocean view, between the trees, but still o.k.). The food was very good, all restaurants had good menus, including Hemisphere, which is a buffet style one, My favorite was the Italian restaurant, but the Indian and the seafood were good as well.
“Loved Jolly Beach”
Although the reviews were mixed on this 3 star resort, we were very happy with our choice. The beach was beautiful, which I enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning on our patio over looking the water. The workers were very friendly, entertainment fun, and the grounds were clean and pretty! The food was very good for a 3 star and I loved Lydias. I would definately go back to this resort!
“Very awesome experience!!”
We had a wonderful time! The beach was the most wonderful, the room and food were great, the pool was wonderful, and the atmosphere so relaxing. I heard that other rooms were not so wonderful though, so for that reason I recommend the King Deluxe Room. Also, make sure you plan your reservations at least a few days in advance for the restaurants to ensure you can get in. I read all these tips prior to my trip, and it was very helpful. If you are not out for adventure and are impatient, I recommend NOT taking the bus- that is if you venture outside of the resort area. The entertainment is great, and if you go there with an open mind and don't mind diversity, you will have a most wonderful vacation. Great for families with children and couples (in my opinion). The activities selection was vast- we had a blast playing volleyball and met some great people too!!
“The one place to stay to see the island”
My wife and I absolutely loved Jolly Beach Resort. They always had something different on the menus, the by-reservation restaurants were really nice, and most of all, the resort staff were all nice, respectful, down-to-earth people. Having the beautiful, clear, turquois water and white sandy beach right there was the best part of being there.

The trip from the airport was fun and exciting - first time i ever experienced driving on the opposite side of the road. Welcome to the resort was very nice. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Room was colorful and scenery beautiful. All meals were so good - could not think of anything I would want that was not there. The staff made me feel welcome each time we went into restaurant. And they were always happy to see us.

The hotel staff was really friendly, entertainment was fun. Food was ok. Best part was the beach, best on the entire island! Rooms were very clean.

We had a fabulous stay at Jolly Beach, the hotel accomodations were excellent, the people were very freindly and helpful.We took a taxi, jeep, and the Wadalii tour and they were amazing. We missed the lobster tour due to availability. But we will go again and stay at Jolly Beach, plenty of entertainment and drinks, and food the best vacation ever.
“Surprised with a smile.”
I was very pleased with this choice for a vacation spot. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic. I found that the pools and grounds were comparable to a 5 star resort. You have to watch out on the beach, the peddlers are persistant and very VERY annoying, but I hear that is everywhere on the island. It would be the only reason that I would not go back to the island. Other then that, great resort and for the value it was well worth it.
