Jolly Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Spent 1 week at JBR. The beach is just beautiful, shallow aqua water, white sand. Good for sailing and other water sports. The pool and beach activities were the center of the action in the day and the evening was filled with shows and music. Range of ages and nationalities made it a fun experience. The staff we just great, always smiling and focused on us having the best time possible. All about the guest experience. I liked the place as it was relaxed environment not stuffy at all. The only down side is that the hotel is showing its age a bit, it could use a little TLC. The food was generally good but the main restaurant ambiance was a bit cafeteria.

The beach was the best part. The 2 swimming pools were also nice, and their a la carte restaurants were good enough. Overall, this resort provided good value for our money.

My wife and I stopped at the hotel for one evening on route from Tortola to London. The staff were extremely helpful. The facilities and location are great but the hotel condition is very tired and could do with some money spending on it.

If crackled patched walkways along neatly landscaped grounds,no beach service and limited choices on the short well-rounded menus are a turnoff to you please do not book this wonderful tropical hideaway and then come back and complain. We stayed 8 days April 2013 in a superior King room. We chose to upgrade from standard for the larger bathroom. If you need a tub or elbow room I suggest you do the same. After an email exchange with Onica, the Guest Services Representative, to discuss our needs we agreed that a room at the quiet end of the resort would work best for us. We enjoyed the 3 minute walk from our second floor room in the building named Jamaica to the public areas of the resort. At no time during our stay were we treated with anything less than respect and a smile. To address some previous complaints; we did not see a shortage of dishes, flatware, drink mixers, fresh fruits, breakfast choices or towels as reported by others.There is a limited number of beach loungers many are discolored and some are broken and should be repaired or replaced, also a limited number of palapas but we never had a problem finding one for our use no matter the time of day. Natural shade on the beach many loungers available by the pools. is plentiful no one need be laying in the full sun unless by choice.

This was our second time at Jolly Beach. It is a Beautiful location and has a fabulous beach but our bathroom ceiling leaked and the power went out for eight hours on our last night there which made for a timely and not very good breakfast.

This is not a 4 or 5 star resort so if that's your thing look elsewhere. If you are looking for a comfortable place with a friendly staff, good food and a great beach at a reasonable price then this will fit the bill. I have stayed there 5 times over the past 10 years and always leave looking forward to my next visit.

Yes hotel is on"older" side, but it is very clean Linens are new, modern & colorful Beds comfortable, Rooms CLEAN Its low rise buildings are spread out so you "may" have some walking to do, but only if in a superior room. New larger rms are far away fr central hub, but a quiet place 2B Food was VERY GOOD,& that inc the buffet! which I don't usually count as "food" most buffets are not so good This one was exceptional, sm dish sizes changed often made for fresh dishes & better food & a new theme each night. The Rest were good also, but one thing that stood out above all was that the SERVICE WAS IMPECKABLE!!! This was my 9th trip to the islands & I usually go to either 3.5 or 4 star places. I was a LITTLE hesitant on a 3 star, But Jolly Beach proved that wrong! I have come to expect [from other trips] to go to eat BEFORE you are hungry as it CAN take so long to get your food...NOT at Jolly Beach! We had better service at Jolly Beach than we have experienced at MANY hotels and restaurants in both Canada and the USA We were quite taken and suprised at the service being so over the top...it was quite a plesant suprise... We WILL return to this resort again in the future but NOT on AIR CANADA!!! That was the mud in the eye of our trip...pay more if you need to, but get there ANY OTHER WAY except Air Canada... Air Canada's motto : "we're not happy till your not happy" But in closing I will say again Jolly Beach was a WONDERFUL trip with EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!! & A BEAUTIFUL BEACH!!!!

An older property in need of some love and upkeep but the location and beach are second to none. Irritation that one has to get up at 6am to "reserve" a beach chair with a towels as there is not enough for the hotel guests, along with the other beach patrons that have access to them (there is a few time shares that use the JBC facilities). Rooms were basic but clean and cool. Grounds need some work, foothpaths need repair. Food was plentiful and if not basic in good quantity. Bar hours were a bit odd and the mixed drinks were a little light on the alcohol but we never went thirsty. Stick to beer and wine of you want to have a good time. We would go back but with renewed expectations. Went with the family and had a great time.

The staff and entertainment are great with excellent bar service. The staff are loyal to the hotel which leads to good service but may be to the detriment of the guest, ask around and you will find the best excursions at the best prices. Always friendly and a number of longer-stay return guests, which tells you a great deal. The restaurants are excellent for all inclusive but you need to book early because they fill up fast. Same goes for the most popular excursions.

Best beach and very nice people / service! All the rest well satisfactory for the money spent.
