“Nice, secluded, hotel”
First thing first: do not go there for the beach. The beach is actually very nice and well kept, but the water is far from attractive: it's full of algae and not very inviting for a swim.
Everything else is perfect. Rooms (large, luxurious, and clean - we stayed in one of the two-bedroom beach cottages), the restaurant (excellent food and great value), sailing and wind/kite surfing.
The location is remote, at the opposite end of the most developed part of the island, and the road to get there very bumpy, especially the last three miles. You need a car and the next restaurant is either in English Harbour (30 minutes), Long Bay (20 minutes) or St John (30 minutes). Half Moon bay (beautiful beach) is 15 minutes away.
With all that, I'd definitely go back. The place is spotless, the service seamless and the bay itself unspoilt. Great find.
