Most Wonderful Vacation Ever!!!Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Absolutely everything! Being so quaint, we were also able to enjoy the company of Matt and Kate and Brian and Danyelle (other guests of the Villas).
Cons: No a thing!
Location: Overlooking Dickenson and Runaway Bay beautiful views, close walk to beach.
We have travelled quiet a bit throughout the Caribbean. The Villas at Sunset Lane was the most wonderful vacation that I have ever had. From arrival to departure, we were treated as if we were the only ones in the Villas. Such detail and attention is seen throughout the property. Villas at Sunset Lane is like no other all-inclusive. Every meal that you have is specially prepared (thank you Jackie, Josephine and Fume). There is no mass production here. There is not enough that can be said about Jackie, she is the most wonderful, genuine person I have every met, a real passion for teaching. Her professionalism shows throughout her staff. Ryan, Doreen, Karen and Josephine are always there to be sure that everything is to perfection and your liking. The beach is a short walk away and beautiful. We stayed in Room #1 and loved it. The sunsets were also beautiful. I cannot stop telling anyone that will listen what a wonderful place, I brought business cards back with me and they are all gone from my desk!

Excellent all inclusive homely hotelPosted Mar 30, 2014
Location: 5-10minute walk from the beach. 5minute drive from St John town centre.
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff make you feel so welcome from the moment you are picked up from the airport. The owner Jackie is lovely and was attentive to all our needs. The hotel is small and has a homely feel. The rooms are an excellent standard and very clean. The food was amazing..... All fresh and there was a constant stream of drinks whenever you wanted. We would definately recommend this hotel.

Extremely 'Homely' Exquisite Small HotelPosted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: The relaxed, homely, atmosphere. And the personal attention offered every guest.
Cons: In it's style, nothing could be better. It doesn't want to be a 'Sandals', and is all the better for that.
Location: A few miles out of St. John's and under a mile from a scenic but busy beach, for independence, car hire is a logical choice to enjoy the wider island.
You'll be treated as a personal guest of Jackie, the owner and hands-on manager, along with her right-hand man Ryan, who will happily be your chauffer and butler and anything else you want him to be.... With only 10 rooms, don't expect evening entertainment on site, nor a wide choice of dishes at every meal - but what is presented is beautifully home cooked to reflect your tastes.

Beautiful and quite hotel with a fantastic viewPosted Dec 11, 2013
Pros: Intimate setting/quite
Location: Local clubs, casino, small market, shopping, beach activities.
My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon! Jackie and her staff were more than accommodating! We recently discovered that we were expecting before heading out and the staff was able to adjust the food to meet my needs. We both loved the intimate setting of this place over the bigger hotels! It is a short walk to the beach where we able to relax and catch some rays before heading back to the cold and snow! :)

Great small hotel with a great host!Posted Dec 31, 2012
Small boutique Hotel. Very romantic! Jacqui is the owner and hugs you when you arrive and you hug her when you leave because it was a special experience! It was the most peaceful get-away i have experienced and i have traveled a great deal! jacqui is an extraordinary chef and loves company in her kitchen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is whenever you want! My wife and I highly reccommend this hotel. We stayed in room #4 with a king bed and lots of room. it is a short 10 minute walk to the closest beach.

Great place for a business retreat or a get awayPosted Aug 4, 2012
Pros: The personal attention from Jackie, the food, the view. The things we learned and were shown that we wouldn't have at a larger place. Very relaxing.
Cons: Honestly, nothing! We hated to leave!
Location: Very peaceful, scenic, close to beach, wonderful view of tropics and ocean.
Wonderful from the very beginning. We arrived at 10:30 at night and Jackie had dinner ready for us. We had a tour scheduled for the next morning, but Jackie said when she heard how late our flight was, she cancelled the tour. I was so happy! She arranged everything for us and Ryan drove us anywhere we wanted to go. I loved the fact that there were no children and they were very attentive to us - even cutting aloe off the plant for our sunburn. I absolutely loved being at the villa and was so relaxed there. Way more attention and intimate meals with my husband than we could have ever had at a large hotel. I was very happy with my husband's choice and really hated to leave! We had fresh flowers in our room every day and on the dinner table. Jackie is so great to converse with and she opens her kitchen to you. She is a great chef and we loved trying new things. She caters meals to when YOU want them. I can't recommend it enough, however, if you like noisy, busy places, this place isn't for you. It would be a great place for a business retreat - I highly recommend it!

Peaceful and BeautifulPosted Apr 29, 2012
Pros: The people and the setting
Cons: No real complaints except initially hard to find the hotel.
Location: Secluded, pretty and secure
The hotel and location are beautiful, secure and very peaceful. The hotel is within a short distance of the city centre and if mor active activities and night life are desired then they are within easy reach of the hotel. This is a good base to visit the island or just to relax and enjoy good food and a very pleasant setting.

A perfect weekend get awayPosted Feb 29, 2012
Pros: The food. Gourmet, plentiful, and perfectly presented every time
Cons: That we didn't stay longer
Location: Quiet, close enough to everything to get there easily. There was nothing we wanted that we could not do. We will be back...
The Villas at Sunset Lane is an absolutely outstanding and intimate place! Our hostess and the owner, Jackie could not have done more for us. She prepared a gourmet menu of 3 home cooked meals each day with unlimited wine and soft drinks. We were even invited to raid the refrigerator in her kitchen at night if we wanted a snack. The villa is a small and intimate place (10 rooms) with breathtaking views of the Caribbean and nearby islands. The rooms are spotless, with beautiful full tile bathrooms. The bedroom was nicely appointed and spacious. Although the air-conditioning worked quite well, we opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fan each night. The pool and the multi-level decks allowed for plenty of relaxation and sun or shade locations all day long. Jackie can arrange for any excursions you might desire and offers transportation to and from downtown St. John's and the airport. Although not directly on the beach, you are only a five minute walk to a beach which provides free chairs and umbrellas for Villa guests and is right next to several beachfront bars and restaurants. If you want a secluded, clean and comfortable place that offers personalized attention, great food and warm hospitality The Villas at Sunset Lane is for you. We will certainly be back. Jackie, save some brownies for us please.

The Best vacation everPosted Jan 18, 2012
If you are looking for rest and relaxation in a top rated hotel/resort then this is the best place in the world to be!! My wife and i just spent 4 nights here from 1/12/12 - 1/16/12 and was completely pampered by the staff. Jacqueline is the owner/manager/chef. She will make you anything you want, but we let her create her own masterpiece meals! Ryan and Ms. Thomas were the absolute best and they go out of their way to make you very comfortable. I could go on forever. Stay at this hotel during your experience in Antigua and you will be very happy!!!
