Not satisfiedPosted Feb 19, 2014
When we got to the hotel to check in we received $25 of hidden charges that the lady at the front desk didn't explain very well. There was a gap in the door that whistled every time the wind blew and the noise from traffic and trains was loud all night. The bathroom was clean but the sheets on one of the beds were questionable. Overall I guess you get what you pay for. But it was a good location to Nashville only a few minutes drive

I will never stay here again.Posted Feb 12, 2014
Cons: They should not have someone that doesn't speak English well without someone helping.
When i first went into the office to check in, the gentleman behind the desk did not understand spoken English very well. I was asking if a king size room with a whirlpool was available. He had no idea what I was saying. I noticed that he was reading papers written in English. I had to write my question/answers down in order to communicate. Another guest came to the office to request more towels. I had to write down the other guest's request for more towels. The towels the other guest were yellowish and some were gray in the center as if the had just been used. After seeing the towels and already being extremely frustrated, I asked to speak to a manager so i could cancel my reservation. I was stuck there for the night, but the manager did agree to cancel the second night with no penalties. i had to speak w/ a rep from Expedia, she spoke with the manager, and my reservation was canceled for the next night.

I admit my wife didn't read all the reviews before she booked. When we told her daughter we were staying there she gasped-- you need to change it. Well, it was late so we couldn't so we stayed the first night and planned to change the next day. When arriving the clerk was incompetent but the owner came down in her robe and fixed it for the person in front of us (although they were disappointed they had to wait over 30 minues before the clerk figured out she needed help. Then they tried to charge her 10 bucks extra per person per night for a third person. Our check in was uneventful. When we got to the room, we were surprised. The hotel had been recently painted inside and out. There was new furniture (except the TV is an old flat screen-- with the 2 foot backside picture tube, but it worked fine.) The hotel room was clean, bathroom had new tile, etc. We were in a corner room so that sound from the major road out front didn't bother us but we overheard another couple talking to a lady about how loud the room was for them. There were several emergency vehicles that drove by and were loud. The breakfast is simple and they start putting it away at 9:55 so dont wait until the last minute. My biggest complaint is that they should scrimp on the shampoo-- it is a packet, not a bottle, that was near impossible to open while you are wet in the shower. Anyway, for the price we paid, we were happy and stayed both nights.

Close to shopping and restaurantsPosted Nov 21, 2013
Pros: Hotel was close to Interstate
Cons: Replace the things that are broken or damaged.
Location: Positive thing, there was a lot of eating places to go to,gas stations across the street.
2 lamps were in rough shape, you see where they were broken and glued back together, outlet plate was broken off,top of bathroom door was on fire at sometime or another as it was burned away 2" hole. Computer in lobby, mouse was broken, could not get signed on as a guest to look up email or maps.
