The staff here are outstanding. However the rooms are not clean. The bed was vwry clean and comfortable. The first room they gave me had avery bad odor in the bathroom and the AC fikter had not been cleaned. I asked to chage the room and they did so right away. The second room

Nice, modern hotel near restaraunts and bars.
Good location just a few blocks away from local restaraunts and bars. The continental breakfast was excellent! I can't believe it's free. Lots to choose from- pastries, cheese, eggs, multiple different fresh juices and fruit waters, desserts, breads etc. very modern hotel. Rooms are simple but nice. Parking garage without charge under the hotel. I would reccomend to anyone staying in Antofagasta for a night.

One of the better hotels in Antofagasta, not far to the bars and restaurants. Clean and comfortable.

I always stay at NH on Antofagasta, they have the best all around deal when you need a two beed room. The only problem on my last stay was that the pillow where just to small.

Nice hotel by beach
Overall I liked the hotel, it has good food in the restaurant and a full buffet breakfast. The only problem is that it is not near downtown or other restaurants. Drinking and driving are definitely frowned upon here and it is hard to get a taxi.

Good hotel in a great coastal city by the desert
I stayed twice in this hotel within the same week. This was on a week-day on the way up to San Pedro de Atacama, and on a week-end at my return from the high Andes. The first stay was great; good location, pleasing room, courteous service; however, the second stay (returning), was like going to a different hotel. Of course, location and room quality were the same, but service was nearly absent. It seems management reduces staff on weekends to a minimum, insufficient to maintain a consistent level of service in all areas. Still, over-all it was a good experience; this is a good, recommendable hotel in a beautiful city.

Their are better choices in Antofagasta
The location is very inconvenient at far end of the town. You end up paying much more in cab fares, if you are staying here as compared to some centrally located hotels. The staff at front desk is very rude and hostile. No hot water available during my 2 day stay. The wifi & ocean view is good, though.

Dear guest, you are right, we are located in a very nice part of Antofagasta, only 10 minutes from down town, but in the best area of the city and in front of the sea. I´m very sorry if the staff at the front desk was as you say "rude", we´ll take care inmediatly because this is not our Yes Y Can policy, as every one can see in others comments, About the water, you never told us anything related to this problem, we already checked it and is working properly. best regards, Charles Jacobsthal General Manager

Considering my lack of spanish reception staff were not interested in answering my questions. When I decided to take up the offer of another night on their website which promised to refund the difference plus 25% off id I found a cheaper price (which I did on expedia) they pretended to not understand what I was on about, The double bedroom with sea views did not mention anything about having a nightclub in front of it..starts at 10pm till 5am friday and saturday. Beds extremely comfy but decor a bit shabby...need to think whether a voleur sofa with stains on looks good in the room

Pleasant Get Away and Relaxing
Hotel is clean and very comfortable with very nice views of the ocean if you request it. Food is available at any time and is very good. Menu is also in English which helps. Hotel in general has a very nice ambiance. If you like the ocean, you can enjoy it for miles. Close to the Ruins and the casino. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main port and the mall. Very relaxing and a great get away.

The restaurant at the hotel Becks, for a Radisson was expensive and also may have provided the worst meal I have had at a restaurant in Chile during my 10 weeks there

100% recommendation
Very happy with our stay here. Hotel has all the amenities you would expect from a Radisson. The staff are fantastic, the breakfast is really good and the ocean view is a great bonus. The hotel is tucked slightly away from the centre so really needa car - but that applies to all hotels really as Antofagasta is a big city. To summarise - don't hesitate to book this hotel.

This hotel has good facilities , good view of ocean . Sadly it also overlooks a derelict building. Good room. A good stop over in a mining town. Emelio the front office manager was fantastic.

"Good choice"
I really liked this hotel! It is modern, has a good vibe and it is conveniently located. Personnel was friendly. You get a free drink upon arrival and breakfast is included. However, be aware that although it is on the ocean side and you get the front ocean view, there is no access to the beach (a lot of rock formations) and your view is distracted by the empty constructions in between the hotel and the ocean. Still, it is in a great location, and a short walk will take you to any of their man-made beaches. For business travelers, it is a good option.

Friendly service
The personnel were friendly and helpful, but their understanding and ability to speak English is limited (a general problem in this part of the world). The surroundings aren't great, but then Antofagasta is a poor city. The hotel is located near the largest university in town and all rooms have a view over the ocean.

Hotel was fine - yet another boring Radisson without any real character. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning was new and worked (unlike Holiday Inn Express down the road). Customer parking has limited clearance (2m).

La habitacion era muy comoda y bien equipada. El sistema de aire acondicionado era rudioso y los filtros estaba en extremo sucios. La perilla de accionamiento de la regadera funcionaba mal, lo cual dificultaba mucho el aseo. La habitacion 427 tuvo en 3 oportunidades problemas en el accionamiento del sistema de apertura. Demando minutos para que personal del hotel lo solucionara. El hotel deberia haber avisado previamente que hay una obra vial ejecutandose en el frente del establecimiento, era muy dificil en hora pico y desde un sector de la ciudad, se hacia en extremo engorroso. Habia buenas opciones de desayuno, aunque alguna variedad de panes o confituras adicionales podria ser un plus.

En cuanto a desperfecto en la cerradura, siempre estamos atentos a solucionar cualquier inconveniente de la manera mas expedita. Igualemente, estamos implementando un plan progresivo de mejoras en nuestros aires acondicionados. La reparacion de la calle frente al Hotel, es una obra mayor que involucra una gran logistica y lamentablemente es el unico acceso que tenemos, sabemos lo molesto que es, pero estamos coordinados con la empresa constructira para minimizar la interrupcion del trafico.Agradezco su preferencia por nuestros servicios.Antonio Gallardo - Front office manager
