Unique mix of quaint and modern.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Great food and staff. Good quality towels and a good shower.
Cons: Very little other than a little more attention to that common problem of waterstain at the edge of the shower.
Location: Airport, J1 shopping center, Lough Neagh. Belfast and Ballymena close by.
This lovely hotel achieves a very unique mix of modern and quaint style almost un-noticed. The food is superb and the rooms excellent with plenty of parking. Service is friendly and efficient and we were especially impressed with Selina in the restaurant to whom no request seemed to be a problem. The hotel's proximity to the Airport did not cause us any problem whatsoever.

Great hotel outside of townPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The staff was incredibly helpful. Rooms were adequate (not huge by American standards) and clean. The restaurant was superb! It's conveniently located next to the airport and about 20 minutes from downtown Belfast.

Very comfortable for people using BFS airportPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel exceeded our expectation, the staff were very helpful and nice. We made the mistake to start walking towards the hotel from the airport and were stuck in the middle of the road with no sidewalk. After a short phone call, the manager came to collect us with her personal car and delivered us to the hotel.

Love the history of the hotel. We stayed in the old original rooms which were clean and quaint. the hotel should up date it's wifi to be better through out the hotel. it is only available in the lobby which was a hassle. other than that the place was great and close to the airport if you are flying out of Belfast.

Enjoyed our stay at the Ballyrobin hotel and would certainly consider staying here again in the future. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. The food brilliant and the location great for exploring Northern Ireland.....However, we stayed in the traditional rooms and like other customers would agree that it can be noisy as they are above the bar and the kitchen but if if like us you're a good sleeper or from a big family then it shouldn't bother you at all....
