Stay elsewhere, if possible.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: They had space available for that weekend.
Cons: Cleanliness, food, and the staff.
Location: Peterborough, with a great book store and cafe, and shops, and Mt. Monadnock.
The inn is rundown, the breakfast execrable, with burnout lightbulbs over the tables in the dining room, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Pros: The inn
Cons: Lots I'm afraid
Location: Nothing much nearby
Had to cross the road to police station who directed me down the road to find owner, who seemed very annoyed at being disturbed,he then rang inn for someone to let us,inn is lovely old house but very dark.we were left completely alone which was ok for a little time, but not for the whole stay

This was the worst experience we have ever had when it cost over $50.00 By admition, the owner is discouraging guest, have closed the restaurant and really do not want guests.

Nice staff .... ButPosted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: Staff very accommodating.
Cons: They should have certain toiletries in the room like bar of soap. Floors were creaky.
B&B was 20 minutes from our agenda location, Peterborough . Location was not referenced as Antrim rather Peterborough. Costs out of line for location.
Parents Weekend at CollegePosted Oct 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
A few things about the B&B were not up to par: squeaky bed in the room made noise whenever my wife or i moved in the bed....disruptive during the middle of the night. The breakfast was ok, the butter had a frozen/stale taste.

Not the staffs fault but...Posted Oct 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
Okay, first of all I want to say we where happy with our stay for the price & location it was ok. The staff was very nice. The bathroom somewhat clean but rundown. But everything else was warm & homey. The problem was we where hoping to get away for a romantic weekend and our room bordered the porch and some guy was playing violent video games on it all night, we could hear everything they where saying so when we got in bed and noticed the headboard creaked at your every move we were a bit put out. Also on of the street light beamed right into our room even with the blinds shut we could see the people on the porch and they could have seen us. The water in the shower was a bit difficult to control temp was and there was shampoo provided on the wall, but no soap. Also there is currently no breakfast being served, you have to go across the street. My hotels.com statement said my price did not include breakfast, but I thought we would be able to pad down stairs and pay for it.

Amazing Old Style with Modern ComfortsPosted Jan 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
This Inn is absolutely amazing! The staff are kind and helpful, the decor and atmosphere is charming and the rooms were clean and fresh. Breakfast and coffee in the morning next to the fireplace was very relaxing and the availability of WiFi was very convenient. We will definitely come back for another stay. The convenience of being able to go out and come back at anytime was very nice, considering we went night skiing/snowboarding. Thank you!

Quality of Maplehurst InnPosted Oct 15, 2010 on Hotels.com
I know that the Maplehurst Inn is old but that doesn't mean that the rooms can't be up to date and be supplied with toiletries such as soap. In the shower there were shampoo and conditioner that appeared to have been there for too long (i.e. a year or more). They were in containers on the shower wall. There were light bulbs burned out over the vanity Even though the sheets appeared to be clean they were very thin and worn. Also the carpets didn't seem to have been vacuumed and I was afraid to walk in my bare feet anywhere in the room. We had dinner in the dining room of the inn which was quite good. The breakfast that was included in the price was acceptable also. But, for the price that we paid I don't think I would stay there again. And, I probably wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Antique building obviously creates some practical problems for owners, but otherwise OK
