One night in Allamanda
We stayed 1 night in here. The room was basic and comfortable but not sure it is worth the price. The swimming pool and the restaurant have amazing views and the restaurant staff was nice. Food is ok. Breakfast is huge. Reception staff could smile more and be more welcoming. Too stressed out about the payments of the bills. That did not give a good lasting impression.

Magical Stay in Diego Suarez (Antsiranana)
If you are ever in the northern Madagascar - Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) region to be specific, be sure to check out Allamanda. We just finished a week of visiting Diego and all days we were up there we stayed at Allamanda. Initially we had planned to spend the last night at another bigger hotel so we could indulge but when we got there there was no electricity in Diego, a hotel without AC is like a furnace. The hotel had to evacuate everyone and we ended up again at Allamanda and we couldn't be any happier! We had a premium room which has a small kitchenette, spacious living room, ocean front view, mini bar and kettle for tea or coffee. Water in Diego can be scarce as well as electricity. While the whole city was out of power, Allamanda's backup generator is good enough to power all houses. We didn't feel like there was no power. At the other hotel, while the had a generator, it couldn't power up even their kitchen so the milkshakes we'd been dreaming off on such a sunny day, we couldn't get them. We are already planning to come back to Allamanda for a big anniversary celebration. Did I mention they also have a great pool? or you can snorkel in the ocean! Staff were very respectful and helpful! We felt safe even at night! One thing to be aware of is that bajaj (Tuc Tuc) is a 1000Ar while everywhere else in town in 500Ar per person! Which was not bad at all even at night!

Very nice hotel. Good price, comfortable room and lovely restaurant attached. Slightly out of town down a dark road - but only a 5 minute walk. Would recommend.

Gorgeous hotel
Beautiful hotel, excellent rooms with everything you need. Lovely view from balcony. Great pool and lovely pier to watch the sunset from.

Excellent hotel beside the seashore
I arrived at this hotel, feeling stressed out, due to the flight delay and lost baggage by Air Madagascar. However, this hotel was so good, and I felt alive again in a relaxed manner. The ocean view was great, needless to say the overall great quality of the hotel such as cleanness, spaciousness, etc.

Lovely hotel with great views. The superior rooms are large and bright. Maintenance however may be an issue: the AC in our 2 rooms was not working. There were no mosquito nets in one room and a single net for a double bed in the other (and there were quite a few mosquitoes especially as we had to leave the doors and windows open to try to cool the room). The safe did not work in one room. The restaurant is very nice and the food quite good but the service is very slow: get ready to wait 30 to 40 minutes for your eggs in the morning

Breath taking Sea View.
Nice location within walking distance to the business district in Diego. Restaurant has a lovely sitting area by the bay,not expensive. Service was good.The grilled fish was great.

Comfortable hotel with great view
I was very comfortable at Allamanda Hotel. The air conditioning was not super strong but it wasn't very hot at night so it was fine. The food at the restaurant was also very good and not too expensive.

Le meilleur hôtel de Diego et je connais tous les hôtels haut de gamme. Le cadre, la chambre, la piscine, le personnel, le restaurant à proximité. Plage privée. La même prestation en France, c’est 300 euros.

Un peu loin du centre ville, cet hôtel donne accès à la mer. Confortable, il possède un piscine un peu petite toutefois. Excellent restaurant.

Agréable séjour à l’allamanda. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Le personnel est agréable et disponible. Le restaurant à côté est très pratique. Petits-déjeuners convenables. Seul bémol, très peu taxis pour aller en ville car très peu de passage devant l’hotel...souvent obligé d’y aller à pied! (10mn pour rejoindre le centre)

Trevligt litet hotell vid havet.
Vi anlände sent 2300. Trots att restaurang och allt var stängt så ordnade de genast fram lite öl vilket satt bra efter en fasansfull resa på 12 timmar. Vi åt en stek på restaurangen som var ok. Trevlig utsikt över havet från restaurangen. En liten strand nedanför .

Negatif : devoir payer la 1ere nuit dés l'arrivée Positif : L'accueil, le cadre, le calme A revoir : la restauration peut facilement mieux faire. Ameliorer l'accueil et le langage Français est limite. Attention à la propreté de ce qui est servi (des saletés dans le miel, le jus d'orange imbuvable, la viande très nerveuse et le couteau qui coupe pas bien, ...). Les plats sont bien mais peut et doit etre mieux encore

Hôtel de bon standard, bien situé.
Hôtel "classique" qui manque un peu de charme mais qui a tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour agréable. Les chambres premium sont vraiment à 10 mètres de la mer (pas vraiment baignable à cet endroit). L'emplacement est bon parce qu'on peut aller à pied au "centre ville" pour les boutiques ou restaurants mais on est quand même au calme au bord de l'eau. Plutôt bon restaurant.

Hotel en très bon état. Légèrement retiré du centre vile en bord de mer et au calme. Artère principale de Diego à 300 m. Chambre très bien, très propre. Personnel compétent et sympathique. Très bon restaurant au bord de l'eau avec très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons été enchantés du séjour.

L'accueil à l'aéroport en van (transit) avec serviette rafraîchissante. Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. Un personnel très attentif à nos besoins.Une chambre très propre. Un cadre idyllique, une aide précieuse pour organiser les excursions, un restaurant exceptionnel. Diego se prête aux touristes qui cherchent le dépaysement et à satisfaire leur curiosité. En ville des bijouteries et boutiques sauront vous présenter des pierres semi précieuses de Madagascar.Du bonheur pour un weekend d'anniversaire.A l'hôtel,personnel en nombre et une Direction aux petits soins. A renouveler sans modération.

Les prestations de restauration et d'hôtellerie ont été de très bonne qualité, le personnel attentif, réservé et toujours agréable donne de véritables bons conseils. La piscine est un plus très appréciable, dommage qu'elle ne soit pas toujours parfaitement nettoyée, sans doute à cause des eaux de ruissellement (période pluvieuse). Un peu excentré, il en posseède les avantages et quelques rares incconvénients (très peu de taxis ou touc-touc). J'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

le plus bel hotel de diego suarez face a la baie
Une situation exceptionnelle face a la baie de Diego, les pieds dans l eau. Accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Piscine, transats, jardin ,on se croirait a la maison. Le restaurant Melville qui depend de l hotel a une terrasse face a la mer, cuisine nationale et internationale bien servie. Un bonus pour le petit dejeuner.
