Great hotel, very much enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent at attending to our needs and very polite as well as offering some excellent dinning options. Hotel location is ideal plenty of public transport options around and just the right distance to the city centre (around 15 min walk). Rooms are well furnished and nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. Amazing pool and fitness facilities, unfortunately the facilities do come at a €7 per person per day cost which would be a problem if you were told, unfortunately this information was not included on Expedia not the hotels fault hence why it has not been reflected in the rating. It’s really a constant battle with Expedia regarding information on a hotel when booking all information about the hotel should be included. All round great stay definitely recommend!

The hotel is in a great central position with good parking, nice bar, clean rooms with great facilities and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We stay in a lot of hotels and this was as any.

well situated hotel with large rooms
I had a large and quiet room with comfy bed. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. It was a short stay, can be repeated in the future.

I was disappointed that although we were staying 4 nights, we only got two complimentary coffees the first day. We had to open a bottle of water left by the coffee machine and assumed this is what we needed to use. We were charged for that water. If we didn’t open it we’d be expected to use bathroom tap water. My husband and I are well seasoned travellers and we have stayed in lesser hotels and always had complimentary teas and coffees everyday that were topped as and when they needed to be. The room was somewhat dated but, it was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have had access to an ironing board and iron. Would we stay at the Hylit again? No. It may just be coffee to the Hylit, but to us it’s that lovely comfy treat in morning that reminds us of home. Sorry Hylit, but you need to rethink your complimentary room drinks. What you’re doing is penny pinching. How embarrassing for you.

We have irons and ironing board available upon request as not everybody wants it taking up space in the room when they aren't using it. I am glad to hear that you did enjoy the room and that the bed was comfortable. I have hereby also ordered a refund on the bottle of water that was charged back to the credit card you gave upon check-in.

I paid for a hotel with Sauna and pool. When we arrived they appeared to be closed. While at themoment of the purchase it was supposed be like that. I had a weekend planned just to relax there. It costed me lots of emotional work and psychological stress because i came all the from amsterdam. Spent just a gew hours in Bruges and then went to antwerpen to find out that the present of my beloved boyfriend wasnt going to happen. Then had to change plans while it was not announced before. I ask for some kind of compensation if you consider how much stress this caused me.

good option near central station
It is a convenient location and quiet. We wanted to relax at the pool, but there were loud teenagers jumping and splashing, so not really a relaxing experience. The breakfast was just OK, nothing special.

Very bad service, incredibly psychorigid staff, mixed bills with long waiting time. Breakfast extremely expensive and pretty lousy. To demotivate you completely they close the gym at 9 and nothing is possible. STAY AWAY NOT IN!

A very rare feature in hotels is the possibility to cut the light in the hall, independently from the lights in the rest of the room. When working at the "desk" or reading, it makes the room so much more cosy. Staff of reception, breakfast service, housekeeping, everybody is very nice , helpful and full of attention, combined with that kind of professional distance so much appreciated. When passing along the desk for instance, you are not to say anything if you don't want to but a very welcoming smile can always be expected.

The fact that Belgium was on lock down. So we couldn’t even use facilities in hotel. No bar. Restraunt or swimming pool. Had to eat breakfast in room. With this we payed full price for a bed. Would have been better in hostel.

It's fine but small niggles
Close to station and 3 or 4 good bars and restaurants. Room fine. Springy so left you with stiff neck. Reception on 1st floor and I had to use 2 lifts to come and go. Very odd. Bar OK expensive, but not staffed well. Pool and sauna fine but chunk of day closed and there was 1 shower and room for 3 people. Been in many hotels and while OK , probably been in 4 or 5 already in 3 months that were cheaper and better.

Great location, easy to walk around the city from the hotel and 4 mins walk to Antwerp Central Station, very convenient. Hotel seemed a little tired, carpet stained in bedroom, slight smell of drains in the bathroom. Shower was great though! Slightly disappointed but made up for the location.

It was a great stay. Beautiful hotel. Nice to have a pool. It was very hot in Antwerp. The air conditioning wasn't great. But that all throughout Europe.

5 Night Stay
We stayed for 5 nights. We had a couple of glitches with the room but a new one was found for us straight away. The pool/gym was only open for a couple of hours in the morning and for a few hours later in the afternoon/evening so we had little chance to use the facilities which was disappointing. Also there was a coffee machine in our room and there were only 2 coffee pods (2 cups of coffee) available to us free of charge for our whole 5 nights stay!!! If you used more than 2 they were charged from the mini bar at 2 euros each!! When questioned the lady told me 'it was the decision of management' I went and bought my own instant coffee. The hotel was not disappointing but there wasn't anywhere to sit, apart from reception, during the day unless you sat in your room. The rooms were very dark and poorly lit so difficult to work in there.
