Nice and clean very friendly staff.Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The overwhelming smell of some sort of orange cleaning product, took over half an hour in sweltering heat to air the room out enough to breath.
Location: Middle of nowhere Florida in a quaint little town with beaches and shopping. The food is great, not a lot for kids unless they love water.
Our room was very clean and you can tell the hotel has undergone a recent renovation. Had all the necessities you would expect. The staff at check in and in the dinning room were extremely friendly and helpful as far information about the area and breakfast was top notch. I gave it this ratting because the smell of cleaning products was overwhelming when we first entered and had to leave the door open for a considerable amount of time to air it out. The beds although nicely made had visible sagging near the middle but not deep enough to roll into when sleeping. The pillows are very comfy, overall a good place to stay when in the area.

Hotel was great. Housekeeping a little shady. Bed made soap refilled. Everything else just left.

Great value, clean and friendly staffPosted May 27, 2014
Pros: full breakfast
Cons: brighten room - only lamp light and dark décor
Location: It's short drive to downtown. Walk the historic shops and eat great seafood! About 30 minutes in either direction amazingly beautiful beaches!
Booked online because it was the most affordable; was pleasantly surprised to find very friendly staff and entire premises to be clean. Gina was most helpful with check-in and recommending local places to eat, giving directions, even circling them on a city map for us. The room was basic and dark, but very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. We booked a 'whirlpool tub' that was not pictured on website and were a little disappointed that it was only a standard size tub/shower combo with 4 jets. The best part was a full breakfast every morning with an attendant to help in any way needed.

Great service, a little far from downtownPosted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, accessibility from main road, friendliness
Cons: Bed comfort
Location: Downtown Apalachicola has a lot of antique shops and restaurants
The service and amenities were outstanding. Very good breakfast and easily accessible on the main highway. Only three negatives: 1) The bed was not very comfortable, 2) the location is a little far from downtown, 3) no elevator to carry luggage to second floor
