Great hotel in a quaint small Southern town.Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Great location and surprising quality for a small town.
Cons: The floor needs a good cleaning. Our feet were black from walking on floor.
Location: Visit St George Island, and eat at the many good restaruants in A.

Nice HotelPosted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel!! We expected a room for the price we paid and it was really an apartment, washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and wonderful screened in porch overlooking the river. Although a bit pricey to have the dogs with us, they did accept dogs. When I booked it said it included breakfast, but we could tell right away that it did not. I would love to stay again for a longer period, we were there for just one night. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance and they were also pet friendly. It was a nice stop along our road trip.

Total relaxationPosted May 6, 2014
Pros: See above
We enjoyed total relaxation sitting on the screened porch watching the birds and the shrimp boats go by. Most comfortable bed we slept on in a long time.

sophisticated, with water viewPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Really impressive hotel room, with sophisticated furnishings and a surprisingly well-equipped, modern kitchen. As spacious as a small apartment, with a comfortable living room with a lovely little balcony looking right out onto the water and boats going by. A great surprise for a reasonable price! And a perfect spot to explore the lovely town of Apalachicola. Next time we'd probably request a higher floor - we were on the first floor and in view of boat folks walking to the marina...but can't wait to return, this was one of our favorite stays on our Gulf Coast road trip that took us from Florida to New Orleans!

ok stayPosted Apr 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was located on the water but a little difficult to find on our first try. Also the room was not ready until after 3:30PM. Once we were in, everything was fine. It did seem a little isolated but I guess if you had a boat it would be perfect. It was within walking distance to the main street although there was not much going on at that time of the year.
