Sunday night arrival

Pros: Smooth process & great staff. Room was very comfortable and clean. Easy access to town and many different restaurants.
Cons: The Sunday evening band playing either next door to me or underneath my room was an interesting touch. Everything quieted down by 10PM.

Debbie at check-in was VERY nice and hospitable, super friendly. Unfortunately the hotel smelled like there was a cigarette convention in town. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. I need to make sure that you know, my room did NOT smell of cigarettes, that is an offense that I would not be able to overlook. The service that we got other than Debbie was not good at all. I called down to the front desk in the morning to ask about an iron and ironing board (95% of hotels have these in the room these days) I asked if they had one available and the front desk attendant said that they did. I asked if they could send one up and the attendant said "Uh...you can come get it." I responded with "You can't send it to me?" "No sir." So, I assumed, they must not have anyone else working right now (9:00am on a Tuesday morning) As I leave my room I walk by 3 hotel employees standing in the hall chatting. Nothing about work, just talking. This frustrated me, if good service was the goal then they could have easily got one of those people to bring that to my room. I probably won't stay here again...

We requested a non smoking room but they did not accommodate the request. The customer service was pathetic and everyone seemed miserable. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk and see what I needed at one point, then I waited another 10 minutes for them to get me an iron and ironing board. Breakfast was weak but I've seen worse. I want my money back!
