The views over the Loch were breath taking (spent a day just watching the landscape change in the weather) amazing! The Staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was nice. great menu and good quality food. My only negative was in the room i had (17) there smell of chemicals from the swimming pool below was too obvious and there were a number of water stains on the ceiling from the suite above. You can easily live with that when the scenery, freindly service and food is so perfect! definately needs another star in the rating!

“A Pleasant Enough Stay with a little hitch.”

This hotel has beautiful views over the loch. Nice to have a pool at the hotel. Breakfasts were good. Staff were very attentive. The hitch - We ended up in the dbl room without a balcony because the balcony room (it turned out) was only going to be available to us for the first night only - some system problem and we were the ones who would have to move. Who wants a balcony over the smoking area anyway?!). The dbl bed was two beds pushed together with two single sheets spread across them giving an uncomfortable ridge in the middle of each of the beds(!). The second night they had found a sheet large enough to bridge across both beds and give a better impression of it being a double bed, at least. Excellent local information in the room. Very clean and tidy.

“Great Time in Kentallen”

We went to this hotel in October after reading positive reviews and we were not dissapointed. Yes it may not be anymore than a 3 star but it had a little more than you would expect, from the views, swimming pool, the staff and food. I'm not sure if we were just overcome with the great views over the loch from our room, or the great food served in the hotel but we have decided this may be our first but will not be our last visit. This Hotel is worth a visit as it has everything from great food, great staff, great views and is a great base for both couples and families.
