The room we stayed in was adorable!! We loved the full kitchen and the separation of bedroom and living room space. The bed wasnt super comfortable, but it was okay. The restaurant, Celt's was yummy! The breakfast in the morning didn’t have a ton of options, but it was still decent. The waffle batter container was empty, so the nice staff member made some more and filled it up! She also made more biscuits for the biscuits and gravy!

Looked like a beautiful, newly updated hotel in the photos. There was no hot water on Friday, and we were told they wouldn’t be able to resolve the issue until Monday. The pool was tiny, and had tons of particles floating around. Hot tub jets didn’t work, and also had particles floating around. Breakfast: milk and yogurts were completely frozen in the fridge, the microwave didn’t have a turn table and had a burn mark inside. The entrance closest to our room had the card reader busted off, so we couldn’t enter through that door, only exit. The stove hood in our kitchen area didn’t work (the fan or the light). The tile in the bathroom was cracked in numerous places and the caulking was horrible around the shower and toilet. Underneath the sink had some sketchy tape job holding it together. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and had very large water stain marks. The light switches in one of the bedrooms didn’t work to turn on the lamps, but the switch in the other bedroom did. We had the air set to 69, but it remained 73-74 the entire time we were there. Most of these complaints seem minor, and I typically wouldn’t complain, but with the pool concerns and no hot water I feel it just all adds up. I would not stay at this location again.

What kinda upset me was. I booked this hotel for the hot tub and the exercise room. It showed this realy nice full gym on the internet. Get there at its a tiny room with 2 treadmills and something else. Looked like a storage closet. My son was looking forward to the hot tub. And that was out of order. The hotel looked like they just did a quick paint job and fixed a few things to keep it open. Room was nice. Those really are my only 2 complaints. Booked the room for those 2 things and didn't get either one. It was a nice suite though.

Usually love staying at this property, but searched pet friendly hotels for this stay and then upon bringing my dog found out they were NOT friendly towards pets at all. When passing in the hallway, my boyfriend heard the maids talking about how they don’t allow pets and how we shouldn’t have been allowed to stay. So upon checkout, I had to explain that it said ‘pet friendly’ on Expedia, and that I also informed them I had a dog upon checking in and they did not seem to care. I usually love staying there when in the area, however that was a more uncomfortable visit.

The staff was amazing! We've been at properties recently where the staff won't even look at you and that was not the case here. Everyone was attentive, friendly, smiling and helpful, and the two times I called prior to our visit, someone actually answered the phone. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, but the appliances in our kitchenette were sketchy. We made due and replaced one planned meal in with a walk to the attached "Celt Craft House" restaurant. It was excellent so do not miss that! We would stay here again.

l chose to stay in a room with two beds and could only get a room with one small bed for two adults. eventually i was able to get moved into a king bed with a pull out. would have preferred two beds like I clicked on on the website.

We had 4 bugs in our room throughout the few hours we stayed. The floor was wooden flooring and dirty under things as if the maids didnt clean under areas properly. The hot tub was too hot and doesnt bubble. The pools ground felt like algae..slimy and slippery. It didnt feel clean. The pool was very small. 17 people if that could fit and Deep end 4 ft shallow end 3.6 ft. This hotel i do not recommend. Only good thing i have to say is staff was nice and took care of us and gave me a refund fully and they made that very easy. So it you have issues theyll be good. Looks can be decieving though on expedia and websites. This hotel has good potential but still needs updates. Pool area especially and the elevator was scary and you had to push the button a couple times really hard before it would shut and it was very slow... i would recommend updates on that too.

Contact me for a full report. Too much to say in a text. Filthy and probably will not pass health inspection. Staff was great when available obviously short staffed. Only good thing is both rooms I reserved for 2 days were credited to me.....hopefully. will see when credit card bill arrives. Family wedding in september and will need places to stay it will not be at the grand stay. So sad

Even though they didn't find my reservation at first, they got it sorted right away- great service. I hadn't been here since last winter, I love the renovations! Room was clean and updated. I appreciate that there is a nice hotel to spend all the junky weather nights at down the street from the job and avoid the commute.

One night stay
The hotel itself was nice looking and the inside looked nice as well first glance. The entry was very inviting and they had a pool/hot tub along with a bar pub. That was the good, now for our room itself first glance it was a really nice setup. Looking closer that’s were it was not great. They leave the dishes in the dishwasher for guest as it says there clean on a note. That was not the case as when I went to grab silverware there was gross caked on food on them. So I looked for the book most hotels have showing amenities and local food places, found it and it had some sticky stuff all over it, you can use your imagination, let’s just keep it at that as the hands were immediately washed after touching it. Noticed it was on the table as well so that was scrubbed and grossed us out. There is a pull out couch by the tv so we tried to open that and the bed support straps were broke so there is no way you could use it even if you wanted too so we folded that back up. While folding it back up we noticed stuff on that as well which I can only assume it was the same as on the table and book (gross) so stayed clear. Now the bedroom overall appearance looked nice but yet again when the sheets were pulled there was something in the bed on the sheets like chunks of things which just brushed them off on the floor. Regardless what it was, I don’t even want to think about it again. Went to take a shower and there was barely any hot water and the drain was clogged. Wouldn’t recommend here

Recently refreshed - great/comfortable queen bed. Only negative was the breakfast attendant - spent most of her time talking with a housekeeper meaning the breakfast area was dirty, messy, and the food items were not restocked. Garbage was overflowing.
