Pros: Pleasant staff willing to ensure your comfort
Cons: Bed space adjoining wall. Approx only 12 inches and even less squeezing past radiator
Location: Several well known attractions
Good hotel but needs better satnav info. From both North or Southonly gets you within 1.5 miles even parked at front door still says another 1.4 miles to go !

Clean and comfortable, but a little featurelessPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was not a typical BW hotel. It is modern and purpose built and lacks the character that most of the chain offers. Reception is in the middle of the dining room which was a little strange, and my room was in a separate block. It was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The shower was exceptional - plenty of room for two or three although getting the film crew in as well would be a bit of a squeeze. I was tempted to have dessert as my starter and main were so good (despite the mashed potato having been left a bit too long under an IR lamp). Breakfast wasn't quite up to the same standard - indifferent sausages, hard bacon, rubbery scrambled egg and no hot chocolate - I might be tempted to pop over to Macdonald's next time. (Yes, there could well be a next time if I was in the area again)

Friendly place for a short stayPosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clean comfortable room. Very friendly staff. The only minor fault was hot water coming from the cold tap, took several minutes of running the tap on full for the water to cool down. Other than than a pleasant stay.

Not as advertisedPosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall room OK. I paid for a premier room, which was advertised as having climate control and a bath. It had neither ... disappointed

Does the jobPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here over download festival weekend. Room 114 was very basic, flat screen tv with freeview. It was a bit rough and dirty around the edges, bits of the shower skirting was coming off. I booked a double through hotels.com, but got a twin instead. No biggie as I wasn't in the hotel much but the attention to detail wasn't there. I think I was also given a disability accessible room, there were a few panic buttons scattered around the room and the toilet/bathroom was designed to be wheelchair accessible. Not too sure if every room is like that. Absolutely no view outside the window; just the back of one of the buildings. Bed wasn't the most comfy, mattress felt like it had caved in, all I could feel were wires. But after a muddy festival, any bed is comfy. Shower was strong, and easy to operate. Wifi is free, but you have to get a receipt from reception with a code on it that only lasts 24 hours. Check in was quick. Free parking too. 24hr McDonald's and petrol station across the road is a godsend.
