BestWestern Fox Valley Rooms

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: room was clean
Cons: new beds
We were there for overnight. The room was clean but smelled musty and sheets felt damp. Over all was ok but the beds were really uncomfortable and my back hurt in the morning.

Location: am legion across road nice place good food and baseball
Overall nice place to stay, older hotel but still very nice. Stayed there for the air show so we we charged max hotel rates {I think sucks, what if grocery stores tripled their price steaks on the 4th of july, would we pay it?} but I payed it. overall nice place

Sleep like a rock.

An older hotel, built like a bunker, very quiet for sleeping. Checked in at 2am after a concert, no problem, no hassle, room keys were ready. Excellent complimentary breakfast for a quick bite, no problems with wifi, TV has cable/Showtime, only small downer was our AC seemed a little lacking in cooling power, other than that, very nice, would stay again.

Cons: The only thing is our room had a different smell not sure if it was from being a pool side room or not, but we would definitely stay here again
This is a great small hotel to stay at. The staff were great and even though breakfast didn't start until 7:00 we we able to get breakfast to go which was great as we had a big swim meet early in the morning.

Pros: The swimming pool, hot tub, pool table, and the area around all of it.
Cons: A lot of things can be improved in the facility to satisfy the people who stay there. One thing we disliked was the time that the staff came to clean.
We stayed for 1 week and there was 3 of us in the room. every day we would have to go ask for towels cause they wouldn't leave enough for 3 people. we had problems with the vending machines taking our money all the time. the cleaning people always came too early and 1 day told me they needed to just hurry and get it done because the normal cleaning lady didn't show up. they didn't refill the kleenex and rarely made the beds.

Location: We were pleasantly surprised that major stores & restaurants were relatively close by and easily found.
originally, when I made the reservation, I asked for a 1st floor room due to a disability. When I registered, I was given a room on the second floor. The clerk was kind enough and got us a room on the 1st floor, easily assessable from the parking lot. For that I am very grateful.

Great hotel AWFUL bed

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness and the experienced staff.
Cons: The bed...the bed...the bed
Location: We were on College ave. As we were in Appleton for a wedding we did not "do" anything else.
We were impressed with the our room. It smelled as clean as it was! I am handicapped and had absolutely no problem getting a room close to the exit. The downside of our stay was the bed. If you like sleeping on a slab of wood you will like these beds Oh and throw in a few lumps for variety!
