“Perfect in every way!”

Couldn't ask for a safer, cleaner, more comfortable room with fridge, microwave (with a bag of popcorn in it!), sufficient dinnerware, including a pitcher, and a mini-store for purchasing a variety of food at reasonable prices right across the hall. A can of pop is 50 cents!

“Basic, and good.”

We went with price, as we needed nothing more than a bed. For the price, it was fine. Clean, dated, but adequate. I can see that if I was there for awhile, the couple of burners and larger fridge would come in handy. If you are looking for something fancy, this isn't the place. If you understand how the extended stay hotels work, it's just fine. I've done weeks of training before, and I wished I had a room like that. The 'honor system' pantry looked good. I can't believe anything honor system can work in today's society, but kudos if it works.

Area recommendations

Go downtown for the nightlife. Bars are great, although quality food is hard to find.

“Pleasantly Surprized!!”

I found that Candlewwod Suites was a very nice hotel. From the time we checked in until we checked out, everyone we encountered was very nice. The room had every amenity you could possibly need. It was also very quite. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the Appleton area. I will definitely be staying there again.

The hotel is very close to the mall for endless hours of shopping, and there is a variety of restaurants near by to satisfy any pallet.

“Clean, very quiet hotel.”

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but were surprised to find out after check-in that there was no daily housekeeping service. Not that that was really a bad thing because we didn't have to worry about anyone coming into the room while we were gone. However, having to exchange our used towels for clean ones at the reception desk was a bit inconvenient. However, the reception desk staff were always there to help & very friendly. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

“Quiet, Quiet, Quiet”

Good value, one of the quietest rooms I can remember staying in. Heating system well controlled, air well distributed - had extremely cold days to test it out.

“What a wonderful surprise!”

This was a great hotel little hotel. I was in for business and just wanted to be close to the airport. Having the kitchen was great although I only made microwave popcorn.

“Great Value for the money”

Nice hotel, the only downside was there were all non-smoking rooms (I am Smoker), stayed here a year ago & the non-smoking law must have passed since my last stay. No fun to have go outside in 20 degree or lower weather to smoke one, They should put a heater or something so smokers don't freeze just because we are hooked!

“good value”

Pretty basic "extended stay" (like a work crew) hotel, at a really good price. A noisy air conditioner condenser outside was a negative, but management indicated a repair had been ordered. "Business Suite" facilities were okay, except for the old, incredibly slow computer. Convenience of location is subjective, and neighborhood is fine.
