Nice small hotel in Oshkosh area

Posted Oct 8, 2013
This hotel/motel is small, but very nice. Very clean, only two years old so fixtures, etc are new. Small lobby area is pleasant and welcoming with fireplace and comfortable couch/chairs. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. All staff that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful with sharing tips about the area. Prices are reasonable. No pool, but we weren't looking for one. Breakfast in the morning was definitely a step above a continental, not as elaborate as some places - but again, you're staying at a small hotel with reasonable rates so I would not have expected an elaborate breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel.

Pros: The rooms were very clean.
Cons: Nothing. This was a very nice hotel to stay at.
Location: The Outlet Mall is 2 miles away. EAA is 2 miles away, also.
We were in town for a wedding. Well, it happened to be the same weekend that the Milwaukee season ticket holders for the Green Bay Packers had their game in Green Bay. All of the hotels were booked solid. We took a chance grabbed a room, as soon as we could. Well, the rooms were clean and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Clean, friendly, quiet

Posted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: Helpfulness and friendliness of all three staff members whom we met.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Location near EAA Museum.
An excellent find, away from noise but close to EAA Museum. The nearby truckers' plaza guarantees good food. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. The only minus point was a not too fresh breakfast choice.

REALLY nice looking place, BUT

Posted Jul 2, 2012
Pros: New and clean.
Cons: Limited parking, hard bed, lousy A/C.
Location: Very convenient, coupon for the restaurant next door.
I REALLY wanted to like this hotel. It was new, clean, and the person that checked us in was REALLY nice and friendly. We went to our room, turned the air on, and left for a job in Oshkosh. When we got back at 2:30am, there was no place to park our SUV and trailer, a big truck and boat was parked crossways across 4-5 parking spots. We had to park in front of the dumpsters. When we got inside our room it was warm and stuffy, even though I had turned the AC down to 67 hours earlier. THEN we laid down and found out the bed was hard as a rock. Neither of us slept at all, too hot, bed was too uncomfortable. When we finally gave up trying to sleep and got up around 9, I went to the lobby for coffee but only got half a cup out of the pot. Went back to the room where there was a coffee maker, but no pot/carafe. I told the staff person I met in the hallway these two things, and she tried to have a discussion with me as to whether there was a coffee pot in my room or not. I was not in the mood to have this discussion. The people I assumed had the boot were also "Woo Hoo"-ing in the hall most of the morning.

A rare gem very nice and affordable

Posted Apr 30, 2012
Pros: Clean, friendly, quiet, comfortable, affordable.
Cons: Pillows could be softer
Location: Convenient to highway.
This was a rare find. I would definitely stay here again. Great value, service, hot breakfast. Clean, friendly, safe. The only suggestion I left for them was to have a variety of pillows for clients who are prefer down.
