“Nice stay”

Very conveniently located right downtown; restaurants and shopping within walking distance; free shuttle or cab from Appleton Airport. Restaurant in the hotel; great pool & workout area; smoke-free.

“Just "OK"”

When we got to our room, the nightstand between the 2 beds were very dusty and dirty. I don't think that table was even cleaned. And also, there was a half eaten bag of doritos stuffed in the microwave, which leads me to believe that the room was not cleaned how it should have been. The beds were absolutely atrocious. My husband and I actually had to sleep in different beds because both of the full size beds "caved" in to the middle. Even with us sleeping apart, I woke up with a sore back and neck trying to compensate for trying to stay out of the middle. The rest of our stay was ok and would probably go back.

This hotel was very nice. Updated rooms and friendly staff. Wonderful Sunday brunch. In a lovely area.

“Smells of smoke”

I requested a no smoking room but when I arrived none was available. I saw a review before I went & they had the same problem. Other wise everything was as advertised.

“It was OK”

When we went swimming the next morning, there were no towels in the pool room. We went and asked the front desk for towels for the pool and all we got out of her was "were all out." When we needed towels in our room, we couldn't get those at the front desk either, we had to wait 15 mins or so for someone to bring them up. We ended up in a smoking room (we wanted non-smoking, but that was all that was left) which reeked. I've had to stay in smoking rooms before, and they were never this bad.

“overpriced”

The hotel is overpriced for what it is. Its an old hotel with the "Holiday Inn" name. It might take a few years for it to catch up. It does have one good thing..."5 Generations" (a bar) down the street makes the BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had !!
