“Great Value!”

We stayed here few times. Every time we stayed there the place was busy, that in itself should say a lot about this hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed sheets were nice and clean and pressed. They have microwave and refrigerators in the room which was a big plus for us. Surprisingly they have Flat screen TV with many HD channels. More channels than what we have at home. Front desk gave us menus to many restaurants in the area that deliver to your room, or you can eat out at. Free wireless internet and free breakfast beats out any big hotels. Staff was very helpful . Over all great place to stay.

“Decent motel with basic amenities”

This motel was not bad for the price. The room was not fancy but did offer a fridge and microwave. Very clean room which is more important to me than the amenities. Basic continental breakfast- coffee bagels toast and pastries. It's a room to sleep in which is all we need when we go to NYC.

“I've stayed in a worst place, but it was in Guatemala!”

I give the owners credit for promptly replacing the lightbulbs and TV remote that had apparently been stolen by the previous guests, but this place is a pit. It is situated nearly under the Sawmill Parkway and a side road with heavy trucks roaring all night toward NYC. Another parkway is in the back yard. The walls are thin and the locals seem to use it for parties. If you intend to sleep, don't stay here.

“Aweful and Disgusting”

This was the worst hotel we ever stayed at. There was an empty condom box outside our room, there was a molding air conditioner unit outside of our door, our room was not clean, there was missing door frames around the bathroom, the sink was falling away the wall, the floor was all torn up, there was a whole in the wall by the closet area, the door did not shut tight. Just plain aweful. We only stayed one night of our two nights that we booked. DO NOT STAY HERE...it was aweful. I have pictures if anyone is ever interested in looking at what you are really getting.

This was a lovely hotel. Check in was at 2pm (we were allowed to check in a bit earlier) and the hostess was very helpful. Should I brag about the cleaniness? Once we opened the door the smell of fresh linens and whatever cleaning detergents they used overcame our senses. A good thing in my opinion, and it was all very pleasent. Located in a quite neighborhood, we where able to get a good night's sleep. It's a bit out of the ways. Not much over there but a few miles down there's a small dinner (7 Brothers I believe...) that comes highly recommended. It was good experience (the tv was of high quality too!) and we will be using it again for next trip down to NYC.

“Surprisingly Adequate”

Ardsley Acres is motel style accomodations that provide the bare essentials at half the price of the larger hotel chains. To be quite honest, the room was nicer than many rooms I've had at name brand locales. The bed linens were crisp and clean, the bathroom was sparkling, and the grounds were well maintained. The HD flat screen with free HBO was a nice touch. The hotel also has breakfast starting at 6:30am. While it's not brimming over with choices (they had 2 kinds of cereal, bagels, sweet breakfast treats, etc.), what they do have is fresh. While searching for hotels for a business trip in White Plains I noticed that the Ardsley Acres was much cheaper. I was skeptical though, as the motel is about 6 miles from White Plains. Honestly, this was not an issue. The ride to White Plains took about 10 - 15 minutes through pleasant residential areas. The bottom line is that the Ardsley Acres is trying to make itself seem like a Holiday Inn. In many ways it has succeeded. As long as you remember what you paid for the room and don't raise your expectations too high, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
