Beautiful place. The views from the hotel is amazing. The rooms are huge and has a lot of area. Property is pretty big and provides very good views of the lake area. Swimming pool is very good. Food can be an issue if u are staying for multiple days. There are not many varieties, especially for vegetarians. Also, the property is a bit far from other general tourist attraction areas and other places to eat. So car is needed to get around.

We had the most wonderful experience at La Mansion! Our room/casita was perfect for our family of 5, and the views from anywhere on the property were spectacular, especially at sunset. The service was outstanding - from the restaurant staff to the reception hosts - making us feel welcome the minute we arrived. Our reception host walked us to our room, explaining the area and even getting us a couple of Imperials when we mentioned a beer sounding good after a long day of driving and hiking. We highly recommend La Mansion and would definitely stay here again and again!

We loved our stay here. The views over the lake from the suites, restaurant and pool are stunning. The suites have so much character. It is close to tourist attractions. 40 min to most things but the drive is easy and we found the view, privacy and country stay preferable to busier options. The included breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at La Mansion for one night and absolutely loved it. The property is incredibly beautiful and the views are breathtaking - just as pictured in the photos. Our villa was so lovely - spacious and with a front balcony with the most amazing view. The staff is helpful and the food and drink options are wonderful. The hotel is relatively isolated - there aren't amenities close by other than a little convenience store. We stayed here as a stopover en route from La Fortuna to Monteverde, and it was perfect for one night. We would highly recommend staying at La Mansion!

The natural beauty and the houses are absolutely wonderful, the staff is the best I have ever experienced. My wife unfortunately broke her ankle the first night we stayed there, a freak accident, and the staff was so caring! Their staff loaned us a wheelchair and crutches. The food was absolutely fantastic as was everything! Can't say enough good things about the resort and staff!!!

The La Mansion Inn is a beautiful destination on Lake Arenal. Beautiful property with spacious, gorgeous villas. Quiet and tranquil with outstanding views. Close to many attractions and excursions including many offered by yhe hotel itself. Very friendly and attentive staff as well. Would highly recommend.

It was a very clean, comfortable place to stay. The staff were amazing and very courteous. I will miss having our morning coffee and evening drinks on the back patio overlooking the beautiful grounds and Lake Arenal. I would highly recommend this place. Great if you want to be outside of busy LaFortuna.

We enjoyed the warm water pool. It had a beautiful view of the lake. Our room was beautiful with a private patio and lake view. There were horses that walked by each morning and were charming. Very peaceful place. A 15 min walk/trail down to the lake was nice. The breakfast was a buffet and included many good options including scrambled eggs, gallo pinto, fruit (watermelon, papaya and pineapple), plantains, pancakes, cereal. Great alcoholic drinks at night. Dinner options were okay. Would return.

I booked one room through Expedia. I arrived and was told I had 2 rooms. I showed all of email records of my booking and was told I needed to contact Expedia. Expedia told me that since the rooms were non refundable they could do nothing about my ghost reservation. Super disappointed in both. The place itself is lovely and staff are friendly but not worth double the price.

WONDERFUL service from check in, to the restaurant, to the pools, service and check out. The views were phenomenal and we were at just a great distance from arenal (~40 min drive). The beds were comfy, had AC, and the staff were soooo friendly and helpful!

Property and the staff were welcoming and showed great hospitality. Cesar and Christopher at the front desk, Luis (Bar), Marice (Restaurant) were really amazing and provided great service. The property provides a great view of the Arenal lake and has perfectly located swimming pool and heated pool. Breakfast included with the reservation was good. Cesar provided some good recommendations for the activities and we did ziplining at Fortuna. Overall, great !!

A very cozy and small operation, but very well run! My family absolutely loved this place… Cesar is amazing to work with and the staff goes out of their way to make everyone comfortable. A great way to experience awesome local hospitality! Almost all the key attractions in arenal are in driving distance, so very convenient overall. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property with amazing views. Our room was much larger than we expected and had great characteristics. The AC can get very cold! We ate dinner each night at the restaurant with a very kind staff and delicious meals. Each morning we woke up to amazing views and the sound of thousands of birds. This was a great place to stay during our honeymoon.

Wow, what an incredible property! The views of Arenal Lake and surrounding mountains are beautiful. Our 3 bedroom villa was perfect for our group of 6. A magical place that we will never forget. The drive from La Fortuna is a little far down a windy road, but absolutely worth it.

We loved our stay at this property. Buildings are not new or high end, more on the local rustic end. Rooms are bungalo style, very well designed with spectacular views and plenty of room to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff were the best! Amazing property, staff, and location. We did not mind driving daily into La Fortuna when we had the amazing view at La Mansion Inn Arenal. Cesar treated us like royalty. The staff were extremely helpful with knowing where to go, what to do, how to get there or even setting extras up. All the staff were amazing. We had Kiko (spelling incorrect) every day for our meals, he was so professional, kind, and very intuitive. He gave us phenomenal service and attention. We were here for our anniversary and have no negative to speak. The staff is helpful, prompt, and very professional. Using What's App was perfect, staff exceeded our expectations, the room was amazing, and we truly just enjoyed the ambiance beyond words. Highy, highly recommend!!!

Best part of our trip!
Booked our villa for 3 days thinking that we would be bored by then. But we found too many things to see and do in LaFortuna area so we booked a 4th at this same place and did not look for another. Caesar, Kiko, Louise and Christopher could not have possibly been more pleasant and accommodating. The View from our Villa was, by far, the best we had in our 8 days in CR. The food at the Masion's "Bistro" was the best we had on our whole trip. The pool area was a little tired and in need of repair and the games rooms needed some cleaning but given the food, service and view and the fact we did not use these facilities very much I could over look that. The grounds, gardens, were high-end resort level and beyond. My 15 and 17 year old kids did not want to leave and parting was emotional for them. Additionally, if you like driving winding roads and spectacular views, the drive into LaFortuna was a bonus for me, not a negative. PS: just north of the Mansion is a 500 year old ceiba tree, worth a visit.

We absolutely LOVED this property! The cabins and restaurant were built with respect to the features of the land...with a beautiful view of the lake and sunset. The surroundings are lush and incredible. The restaurant has delicious food for every meal. Every staff member was friendly, personable and helpful. One morning we had to leave early for an excursion, and they packed us a breakfast to go. I hope I can return here soon to just relax! It is a convenient 40 min from La Fortuna.
