“Excellent”

Staying at the Lomas del Volcano was a great experience. Fantastic view of the south east slope of the arenal volcano; clean and very well attended by very freindly staff; the food in the restaurant was excellent; the ecoturisem style of the cabin was superb. Two minor complains the light in the rooms was low and made it a little difficult to read at night. The cabins that were far from the main lobby did not had Wi-Fi reception. You could use the included Wi-Fi in the common areas.

bungalows are nice with great views of volcan arenal; back porch for relaxing & enjoying the view. beds very comfortable, big bathrooms. good breakfast...omelets made to order! off the beaten path, away from the busy main road, not one of the "disney world"-like resorts.

“Our favorite Hotel in Costa Rica”

This hotel is situated somewhat out of town, so you might want to have your own transportation. Being out of town it is very quiet. The grounds are beautiful as are the rooms with a spacious bathroom and main room. You have a veranda both front and back to read quietly or just look up at the volcano (we had some glimpses early each day!). The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The only thing I missed was a comfortable chair for reading in the room. The food in the restaurant was good--try the Costa Rican Chicken soup!

“Beautiful Surroundings, Comfortable, Spacious Room”

Just stayed 1 night. Very beautiful grounds and great views of the Arenal Volcano. Rooms were great although the beds were a little hard but they worked after a long day of activities. Would have loved to stay longer as the whole resort area feels peaceful and low key. Staff was very friendly.

“Great stay in Lomas del Volcan”

We stayed in Lomas del Volcan along a weekend (January 18-20). Everything was fine from the reception to check out. Rooms are independent cabins with a terrace with a view to the volcano (if you are lucky enough to see it without all the clouds usually covering it). Staff is nice and helpful, I totally recommend this hotel.

“Great spot”

Great place, very private and clean. Friendly staff, very helpful. This was our one of our favorite places on our trip. Though we also went to and enjoyed the Observatory, we enjoyed our time at Lomas much more, as it isn't overrun.

This hotel is a must see! It is very clean,comfortable and so pretty. The view from the back of the cabin to the Volcano is breathtaking! The volcano is right in front of you. The people are so nice and helpful and the food amazing! You must see for yourself!
