Wonderful Costa Rican stay,Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Staff, Location, ground, rooms set up.
Cons: Food taste and quality during launch and dinner.
Location: Go out for dinners, stay away from Nanos, heard that Don Rufino was great.
Eric was the first to say hello, check us in and drive us in a cart to our rooms, From there it just continued to stay fabulous, I traveled with my two granddaughters who are Gluten Free, The crew kept our special bread in the kitchen cooler, warmed it up separately and made sure they were okay with the rest of the food, they never got sick. We could not feel more comfortable, I wish I could remember all the names, each and every Person there deserve mentioning, the front desk, kitchen crew and room crew. All was clean and great, rooms are specious each with a great size bathroom which has two Showers side by side, one spa the other water fall (cool) great verandah with rocking chairs, Wished I purchased two and brought home. Breakfast was great, but skip dinners not their best-:).... Keep in mind the pool is small.

Nice grounds and rooms with great viewsPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Views of the volcano.
Cons: Some of the waiters at breakfast didn't seem to like their job.
Hotel has separate small houses that have 2 attached rooms that overlook the volcano. Nice grounds. The pool area is nice but small compared to some of the other hotels in the area with a heated pool that is a nice temperature, but not thermal water. We had a great bar tender and the pool area to ourselves one afternoon. The breakfast was pretty good and the service ok.

Beautiful propertyPosted Mar 26, 2014
Great experience and a tastefully build and decorated rooms. Disappointed at reception. Arrived at 13.00 hours. Check in 14.00 hours, waited in the resturant for an hour. On return to checj in 2-5 minutes befor 14.00 hours asked to wait for a few minutes more, not expected to be so rigid.

Gorgeous property, great locationPosted Mar 13, 2014
Good volcano view from our cottage, absolutely beautiful grounds, and a wonderful included breakfast. The only negative was small - there was only 1 small pool that could be made more impressive.

Great hotel locationPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Great location
Cons: Room lighting and staff service
Location: We did the Safari float trip on the river and saw all types of wildlife. We also did the Sky Tram and Zip line which was fantastic.
Great hotel property with excellent views of the volcano. The rooms are nice but very dark as there is insufficient lighting. The only good staff was at the pool bar; he was good at what he did. Everyone else was slow to provide service messed up food orders at least twice and did not come to pick up our bags when we wanted to check out. After waiting 15 minutes to have someone pick up our bags we decided to take them ourselves when we were about to the main hotel building the guy came by in the cart and said he was coming to pick up our bags. I told him he was way to late for that.

Wonderful hotel good locationPosted Feb 19, 2014
We had a car. MPH was minutes to town and major attractions. Pool was heated but not thermal. Staff very friendly and provided helpful suggestions on things to see in the area. We struggle with finding the best place yet reasonably priced. MPH was a definite win.

Great Hotel in Arenal AreaPosted Feb 17, 2014
Location: This is one of many hotels around the Arenal volcano area. Like the other best hotels, you need a car in order to come and go as you please.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We had a beautiful room, surrounded by an amazing garden, with a porch and a Jacazui on it. The room itself was huge, everything wood. The service was excellent throughout
