Beautiful hotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
Location: Close to Arenal Volcano and Fortuna and easy to get to all the activities in the area.
Lovely hotel with a fantastic room which was huge and had everything you would want, indoor and outdoor shower, Jacuzzi bath on the balcony. Very private

Really nice place, great servicePosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Each room is a separate "villa", a separate little building. Ours had a jacuzzi tub on the patio, and both indoor and outdoor showers.
This place is really nice. We showed up a little before check in, so while waiting we swam around in the wet bar area, and they gave us a free pina colada. Everyone was really nice. We mentioned that we were on our honeymoon and they had a nice "Happy Honeymoon" display on the bed, with roses and rose petals, when we arrived at our room.

Beautiful Hotel in a must-see part of Costa Rica!Posted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We travel a TON & have to say that this is one of the top hotels we've ever stayed at! The grounds were gorgeous, the view of the volcano was 2nd to none, the rooms were amazing & the food was great! Most importantly, the staff really went above & beyond to make sure you were happy & enjoying your stay! Jonathan who works at the front desk was great! we loved him! he was always around & happy to help in any way he could. He gave us an overview of a few excursions & made sure we were booked on anything we wanted. He took care of everything, we didn't even have to leave the bar to do it, just showed up the following day at the time he told us & it was all set! Our other favorite was Jonathan the bartender at the pool! He was such a friendly guy. He made amazing drinks (which were VERY reasonably priced for such a great place!) and was nice to talk to. These were just a few of the great employees that we encountered! literally every everyone who works at Nayara was above & beyond friendly! Everyone was knowledgeable about the area & we were grateful that everyone spoke English too!

Above and beyondPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The service was the absolutely the best.
Cons: I have no idea what they could do to make it better.
Location: We highly recommend the zip lining with Sky Trek, canyoning, horseback riding to La Fortuna waterfall and the Eco-Tamales hot springs.
The service was absolutely amazing and the hotel was gorgeous. It was better than we had imagined. The hotel took care of arrangements for the activities we were interested in and they were all excellent tours as well. I took my 13 year old daughter on this trip with me and I wouldn't change a thing. I absolutely recommend this hotel and visiting this area of Costa Rica. Also the spa was well worth visiting.

Honeymoon Paradise!Posted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Views of volcano, staff, food, cleanliness
Location: Zip line, white water rafting, ATV's, volcano hike, hot springs, spa
Nayara is truly a 5 star resort. We had the honeymoon suite with indoor/outdoor showers and a hot tub on the balcony overlooking the volcano. The staff was fantastic and everyone spoke English really well which made things much easier for us. Also, our concierge Jonathon made scheduling expeditions easy. Everything was applied to one bill which we took care of at the end of our stay so cash was not needed. I requested candles, rose pedals and a bottle of champagne at our hot tub and Jonathon delivered. When we arrived back from dinner one night all had been arranged. I would highly recommend this resort especially for honeymooners. Food was great and there are so many adventures to enjoy. A+!
