genial. la atención es estupenda

Posted Jun 29, 2015

Terrible service

Posted Jun 14, 2015
This is a beautiful hotel. The hot springs are just amazing and really the only nice thing about this hotel. I'm a vegetarian and the menu was severely lacking for vegetarians. $18 for a vegetarian sandwich, no description. Unless that comes with a side of fillet mignon I just can't see how that would be worth the money. Asked the front desk for names of restaurants that deliver to the hotel and was told the hotel does not allow deliveries. The town is $20 cab ride one way. $40 just to go and come back for a meal for one just did not seem like it was worth it. Ended up eating French fries for 2 days off of the kids plates. Called the front desk to find out where the ice machine was located and was told they don't have one but they would deliver it to the room. 45 minutes later, still no nice. Called again, no apologies and was told she sent it but would look into it. 10 minutes after that we got our ice. I could have made ice from tap water quicker than they delivered it!! We had 2 connecting rooms because we have 4 kids. They cleaned our room both nights we were there but did not touch the kids room. We called the front desk and asked them to please clean the room, but still our request went completely ignored. Upon checkout the front desk girl asked how our stay was and I mentioned the above to her. She simply apologized passingly and said she hoped to see us again!!

Bad customer service

Posted Jun 14, 2015
No towels in room took an entire day and asking twice to get 2 towels, we were 4.there was an interesting sliding door next to my bed, I opened it and I saw my 18yo daughter in the shower, clear view to shower from bedroom imagine how much trouble I got in, the 11 yo daughter refused to shower. I rented am suv cause we drive to our own places, parking guy told me I had to valet park every time ? Either walk or wait for bus to take you to thermal waters? Next time will stay at previous hotel.

Beautiful area

Posted Jun 11, 2015
Overall the experience was good. We had a hiccup in the first room we were given. whereby we had to relocate to another room. The hotel was accommodating. The springs and pool area was great. The food was good, not great, and quite pricey.

We considered it exremely overpriced given the quality of the room. Quite frankly, you are paying for the hot springs. The hot springs were nice, beautiful @ night with all the lights.

BEAUTIFUL RESORT

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: The location and the ambience.
Location: You are close to the Arenal Volcano so tons of hiking and other attractions such as zip lining, horseback riding and other things to do are nearby.
The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. The Hot Springs and the Spa are absolutely incredible!!!!
