Not bad for a night

The place was very clean. Showers were strong and hot. Staff spoke very good English. Beds were a little stiff. The location wasn't the best, but the hotel was overall a great place to stay.

Small hotel with very professional staff

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: Location and Services.
Cons: Small refrigerator in the room would have been nice.
Location: Great location with plenty of things to do. Tours, walking, shopping, participating in the traditional ceremonies such as raising the of National flag.
Pleasant stay with experienced staff just a minute walk from the center of the city. It was clean and with easy access to the rooms with heavy luggage. The staff was courteous and professional. Free breakfast was excellent in it's verity of offerings. Services were available at request with minimum delay. Price was within the range of services. Overall pleasing experience. I definitely would recommend this Hotel to anyone who find themselves on a trip to Arequipa.

Great hotel for overnight stay

Overall a great hotel. Casa Andina is a chain of hotels in Peru, and they offer great locations with outstanding class of service. Classic-Arequipa is located close to the center of town (about 5 blocks). The rooms are not huge but you don't feel crammed, and they are very clean. The service is outstanding. The breakfast good and plentiful.

Fantastic Service

The service I gained from one of the young men on reception was awesome! Thank you very much. He ensured that we had a room with a bath-tub to assist my new wife who has a disabled left leg, he also assisted the process of our trying to change flights. Great service. I highly recommend this hotel and its welcoming staff.

A comfortable chain hotel.

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, staff, comfortable bed.
Although this hotel doesn't have much character, I found it to be very comfortable. The room was clean and the bathroom had ample hot water. The staff were exceptionally efficient, and the breakfast was above average--eggs, tamales, bread, cereal, meat, cheese, various fresh fruits, and drinks.

Decent hotel not to far from sights

Posted May 14, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff could be friendlier. Neither the room nor the bathroom have a fan. Room is kind of noisy.
Location: In walking distance to downtown and the famous monastery, as well as the two best restaurants in town; Chicha and our favorite Zig Zag
Breakfast was not very impressive no fresh fruit juice and the rest was pre-packed store items. Restaurant and lobby staff not the very helpful. The security gard was very helpfully and pleasant.
