Very Comfortable Hotel, Staff Exceptional.Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: The attentive and helpful staff.
Cons: The wifi does not really work great in your room. You need to be in common areas to get reception.
Location: The hotel is centrally located. It is right across the road from the Santa Catalina Monastery, the Plaza De Armas is only a 5 minute walk away.
We stayed at this hotel for several nights and had a fantastic time. The rooms are quite big and spacious, including the bathroom. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is very beautiful, but the best aspect of the hotel are the staff. They were very attentive and helpful with any requests. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Stunning character hotel with exceptional staffPosted May 8, 2014
Pros: The design, the rooms, the staff, the food and drinks
Cons: Absolutely nothing. It was fabulous.
Location: It's across the street from the Santa Catalina Monastery and within 5 minutes of the Plaza de Armas.
My stay at the Casa Andina Private Collection was an exceptional experience. Upon arrival, the friendly and professional staff made me feel welcome. The room was spectacular. I had a room in the older part of the building and the room was beautifully decorated with period appropriate art and furniture. The king-size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The bartender makes an incredible pisco sour and the restaurant serves delicious alpaca and risotto. The breakfast was another outstanding experience-- the food was great, the courtyard was sunny and warm, and there was a harpist. A harpist! I spent the majority of my time debating whether or not to even leave the hotel and see Arequipa-- it was so lovely I did not want to go anywhere!

Rest after medical trip abroadPosted Apr 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Upon completion of a medical trip abroad to Arequipa Peru, we stayed for one night of R and R at the Casa Andina Private collection. Wonderful way to end a trip, beautiful historic hotel, great room, and good location. It was a very positive experience.

Beautiful hotel lobby, ordinary roomsPosted Mar 16, 2014
Pros: Good wifi
Cons: The rooms
Location: Fantastic location
I was a bit disappointed with the rooms at this hotel. The lobby and entrance to the hotel is so full of character that when faced with ordinary 3 star rooms it is a bit of a surprise. The rooms were adequate, though mine was an interior room so perhaps that added to the disappointment. There was only a window out onto an inner cavity which looked straight through to the hotel corridors. The bathrooms were very basic.

Historic hotel, great servicePosted Jan 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Beautiful hotel in a 17th century casa. The entrance, lobby, reception and breakfast area are all really beautiful, with even a little chapel. The hotel room was in the new part of the hotel - comfortable but less spectacular. Breakfast outside in the courtyard to live harp music was a delight. Very friendly and courteous staff.

not your normal chain hotelPosted Jan 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
the hotel is very - very nice. a must see, must stay at location. its a short walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife and its a restored historical mansion that has been updated yet kept the historical charm. the only thing is that if you want to eat dinner at the in house restaurant - make reservations. they wont budge on that for you, even if there are empty tables, which was very disappointed, especially on the day that we ARRIVED and had no clue about the need for a reservation, having arrived on a somewhat late flight. I was told I should have made reservations in advance of my arrival (shame on me). besides going hungry the first night, the stay and people were wonderful and I would love to come back.
