Charming hotel in great locationPosted Dec 8, 2013
We stayed three days at this wonderful, charming hotel and had no complaints about our room, the terrific service or their very good breakfasts. The only complaint was regarding the ten percent service charge that isn't mentioned until you check out, leaving you feel a bit ripped off. Otherwise, a terrific place.

Peaceful in the middle of the cityPosted Jun 16, 2013
Pros: the garden
Cons: lukewarm showers
Good location, beautiful garden, lovely rooms, good service, but the water was never hot enough for a comfortable shower.

Excellent HotelPosted Apr 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place is over 300 years old and very well maintained, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The location is perfect - short walk from the Cathedral and Main Plaza. The breakfast is good and the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms have a fridge and electric kettle. The only thing missing is a hair dryer, but it is still a rarity in Peru hotels anyway.

Excellent value hotel in downtown ArequipaPosted Mar 22, 2013
Cons: The chairs in the outdoor court yards could be updated or reconditioned.
Location: Only three blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
This hotel is an excellent place to stay near the Plaza de Armas in central Arequipa. The sillar block construction of the hotel which is typical of the buildings around Arequipa makes for a quiet and aesthetically pleasing place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the suite with the king bed and ample room. It was well worth the extra charge. We highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Arequipa.

Charming and well-located hotelPosted Jan 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a charming hotel with a terrific ambience. It's only a few blocks away from all the 'must-sees' in Arequipa. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful - not only did they organise airport transfers for us with a minimum of fuss, they even gave us a small bottle of pisco to celebrate the new year. One thing to note that the Suite room (spectacularly spacious as it is) is just off the main reception area, something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep during the day. Overall, though, this is a real gem.

WONDERFUL RETREAT WITHIN A BUSY CITYPosted Nov 8, 2012
Pros: A VERY RELAXING ENCLAVE WITHIN A BUSY CITY.
Location: CENTRAL, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF PLAZA DE ARMS, THE CENTRE OF THE CITY, AND ALSO CLOSE TO LOCAL MARKETS AND MUSEUMS.
Management was extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, and when issues arose they were very helpful in attending to them on our behalf.
