Lovely hotel convenient to downtown ArequipaPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Nice grounds and comfortable facilities.
Cons: Sauna could be fixed.
Location: Downtown Arequipa and the main square is only a ten minute walk, so it is very convenient for local sightseeing.
We stayed in a garden room with a King bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The heat did not work, but fortunately, the night was not too cold. The staff are very accomodating and helpful. The gym is small but with very good equipment. The massage services in the spa were very good and only cost $35 for a one hour massage. The sauna is free to guests, but unfortunately did not heat up well. The lunch menu is limited, so it is probably better to eat in town. However, the breakfast is excellent and the dinner menu is fantastic (and not too overpriced). Try the Sea Bass---it's amazing! Also, the Pisco Sours were some of the best of the trip. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Quiet respite from the cityPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a few minutes (5-7 minute tax) outside the main center, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The surrounding green helps too. The pool seemed nice but it was too cold to swim when I was there. Rooms are comfortable but lack some basics (dresser). Although the bed is nice and the bathroom is very clean. Service is the main weakness. Perhaps a lack of training makes it a bit slow and not as client centered as you would hope. But it wasn't bad, just not great.

Excellent hotel for the moneyPosted Jan 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Level of amenities and service likely second to none in Arequipa. Hotel's restaurant, while pricey for this city, was of excellent quality. The hotel's resident herd of alpacas and (not quite) giant tortoise Juanita add to the charm. Were tempted to stay longer in Arequipa than planned just to remain in the hotel an extra day.

A very good option in ArequipaPosted Jan 1, 2013
A lovely property not far from historic center of Arequipa. Friendly staff. Overall very good experience. Beautiful grounds with a 200 year old turtle and alpacas.

Pros: breakfast buffet was good
Location: a bit far from ci center, still within walking distance
I encountered communication difficulty in the hotel restaurant, other than that, the staff in the front desk were nice and helpful. The hotel provided coca tea that helped curing my altitude illness.

good locationPosted Jul 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
Service was very good. Unfortunately some remodeling was going on during the day. I have stayed there before and will stay there again in my next visit to Arequi[pa.
